Tacenda Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Jordon River Temple. But my district was at the time, the SL Temple. My husband's family were all TR holders, unlike my family so went where it was most convenient for them.

I didn't know your wife wasn't baptized I was married in the Regina Saskatchewan Temple, didn't work out but that's were it was
Stormin' Mormon Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 (edited) Denver, 2001 I've known my wife since kindergarten, and we've been good friends since high school. We had only started dating a few months earlier, but with our long history together, we knew pretty early on that we'd be getting hitched. Both of our families are from Denver, but hers were active and mine were not. My parents and siblings waited patiently outside on the temple grounds and we included them in all of the other activities of the day. My bothers were my groomsmen and wore tuxes to the reception. rodheadlee Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 We haven't been sealed yet, but we have been married for 42 years. I'd like to be sealed in Papeete or Newport Beach (birthplace) but any Temple would do. 4

Scott Lloyd Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 (edited) Bountiful Utah, 1996 How nice it was to have been married in one of the storied Book of Mormon lands and to imagine Lehi and his family having landed there after their voyage from the old world. Of course there's no ocean there, but our pioneer forefathers would not have named it Bountiful if it weren't the identical place, right? Just like they called the hill in New York Cumorah.
