sjdawg Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I was married in the Cardston temple and actually found it to be a very disappointing experience. (not the marriage, just the ceremony). Even my family who attended with me (and have attended dozens of temple marriages) commented on what a poor ceremony ours was.

I expected a short ceremony however the temple worker spent most of the few minutes we had in the sealing room talking about how busy he was that day and very little time discussing the actual sealing or marriage. I think the Temple Pres needed, and would want, to be aware of your experience, and this Sealer needed to be reminded of how we are to serve the patrons... I say this because your Sealer's actions were not in keeping with the emphasis we received in training, and how I know the attitude of the temple presidency really is...
