And for those of you who are single, what temple do you want to get married in? I'd like to get married in either the Payson or Boston temple.

Wasn't "married" in a temple other than the temple of the garden of the world - Cypress Gardens of Florida to be precise. It was a very pretty (but hot) locale. We got sealed in the Orlando temple 2 years later. If I were to get sealed in Utah tho, I certainly would like the Payson Temple - I really like the design of that temple - although I think the landscaping needs some maturing. Salt Lake would also be on my short list, but I think it is very busy in that regard. Back east the Washington temple and out west probably the San Diego temple.

I'm jealous of all you that have had temple marriages.

Don't be, VGJ...  I think you're not really jealous, but I do understand yearning for something.  Particularly a temple marriage... I can only encourage you to continue as you are, with prayer, fasting, and a positive attitude... The Lord is mindful of you and your righteous desires...

Seattle, 1991. I think. My wife is sitting beside me but not paying attention to what I am typing and I am afraid if I ask to confirm the year she will smack me. Must have been 1991.

For a moment, I thought you were saying you didn't remember which temple you were married in.

That would be something you might not want to admit to your wife.

Temples are nice to look at, but I don't place them so high that they become the end all or be all.  And the exorbit cost to build them vs. helping countless lives.

VGJ & GG,  I know some temple marriages that aren't that great.  I know plenty of marriages outside the temple that seem to be just as beautiful or better.
