What, and let more innocent victims fall prey to Wonder Woman, Mike Brady, and Finding Dory?

I loved Lynda Carter as wonder woman growing up like you did and the gay didn't seem to stick to me either.  Who would of thought that possible?  I also liked Robert Reed as Mike Brady .... and still no gay coming my way.  I guess my mom and dad did a good job of praying the gay away from their two sons despite wonder woman and mike brady.

thank you for mentioning finding Dory (the Lesbian) Ellen Degeneres bad example to little children.

The danger of the LGTBQ not self-identified persons make up the highest levels in the government military navy and airforce. Bill Clinton said we won´t ask if you don´t tell. This was refering to joing the US Forces. Here is a question I have for true Christians? Should a Christian soilder salute and follow the commands of a Lesbian General in the US Army? Former Army Colonel Tammy Smith was promoted to brigadier general, making her the first general officer to come out while serving. Less than a year after the repeal of "don't ask, don't tell," former Army Colonel Tammy Smith was promoted to brigadier general Friday making her the first general officer to come out while serving.Tammy Smith received her stars from her wife Tracey Hepner in a private ceremony at the Women’s Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery. In the Obama administration we see that those in leadership positions that affect the lives of millions of people are Lesbian or Gay. Are these types of people that a Christian can trust their lives to lead in battle and seve in honor?

Did you know that Janet Reno is also a Lesbian? Janet Wood Reno served as the Attorney General of the United States, she was instrumental in the genocide of WACO. Can we really put our faith in a Lesbian making moral descisions on the fate and lives of children? Wall Street Journal, a Florida attorney writes on the editorial page that Janet Reno is "unfit to practice law, let alone serve as this countrys top cop."

LGTBQ all these types of immoral people should not be given high positions nor nominating gay married couples to adopt children when there are so many good Christian parents that should always qualify everytime for adoption.

The first treaty concluded between the United States and Tripolitania was submitted to the Senate by the US President John Adams, receiving ratification unanimously from the U.S. Senate on June 7, 1797, and signed by Adams, taking effect as the law of the land on June 10, 1797. The treaty was a routine diplomatic agreement. It has attracted attention in recent decades because of a clause stating that "the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion." I do not understand what all the fuss is about the USA Government was never a Christian government.

For example in your US Constitution: Amendment I freedom of religion

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

However, when the US forced the creation of a State of Israel 1948 it was made officially illegal for any Jew to practice their religion.

In the United States religious slaughter is not practiced under any exemption. Instead the Humane Slaughter Act defines religious slaughter by Jews and Muslims of killing animals for food and the animals must be stunned before the killing. The kosher food industry has challenged regulations as an infringement on religious freedom.

Secular governments also have sought to restrict ritual slaughter not intended for food consumption this law includes; ritual animal sacrifice, shechitah, or Jewish ritual slaughter.

You are officially on my "ignore" list.

It's a short list.  You should be honored.

I really don't understand why some people are so afraid of gays and lesbians. What happens in someone's life that makes them choose such irrational fear?

The fear of what happened to sodom and gomorrah is what the issue is. According to the Book of Mormon:

27 And if the time comes that the voice of the people doth choose iniquity, then is the time that the judgments of God will come upon you; yea, then is the time he will visit you with great destruction even as he has hitherto visited this land. Mosiah 29:27  The fear is for the welfare of the nation that up holds such sin.

Romans chapter 1: 24 to 32 Sins Worthy of Death

  • women changing the natural use into that which is against nature & in the same way the men also, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men, committing indecent acts
  • unrighteousness
  • fornication
  • wickedness
  • covetousness
  • murder
  • debate
  • moral corruption
  • inventing evil things
  • being without understanding

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in those who do them they know.

24... uncleanness through the desire for forbidden things that is within their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator Who is blessed into the eon. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up to vile affections, for even their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature, 27 And in the same way the men also, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men, committing indecent acts and receiving in themselves that penalty of their error that is just. [Gr. Dei]. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over into their depraved mind to do those things which should never be done. * 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, desire to harm; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, depravity; slanderers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, spiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in those who do them they know.

Believing in the Book of Mormon is not a mental illness. Janet Reno was a very immoral person and so is Hillary Clinton both these people had made rash judgments because of their own immoral values that have affected the lives of many people. When will people decide to plead to God for righteous leaders to lead their country away from Sodom and Gomorah´s judgments?

He is right, The only problem is the threat is not waged by physical forces, they are coming from more subtle angles like Science, Internet and reality of facts....Which frankly He knows, there's no defense against it.

Let me understand you correctly are you saying there are those who are gay that are gay because they are sick in the head?

“What Manner of Men Ought We to Be?” You will recognize this title as a variation of the question Jesus posed to the Nephites. (See 3 Ne. 27:27.) It is a timely question for each member of the priesthood of God to consider. This title is prompted by reports that have recently come to my attention about the shocking actions of some fathers and husbands, and their unrighteous actions involve wife and child abuse.  I believe what Ezra Taft Beson said is what has caused so many children to become gay.  The bad examples of parents have a lot to do with it.  But lets just say for a moment the parents were angels and were the most perfect pair of ma and pa you could have ever known and yet the son or daughter decides to live with the temptations of liking the same sex. It is not justified that the person choosing to sin is doing it without he or she consciously choosing to think of the opposite sex in the mind and not acting upon it.

Your mind is a stage you have the power to let inside your stage what you desire. Now the key word is desire.  I am sure you have heard about the great secret!!!!  If you have not heard about the great secret let me share it with you. The great secret is the LAW OF ATTRACTION.  The law of attraction is the desire a man chooses to seek after.  Where a man´s heart is that is where his treasure lies.  We must love God with ALL our might, mind and strength.

We have no room to love the same sex in that law of attraction to worship God, ( who by the way is a jealous God) then we need to have our minds and our hearts focused on God and not on the same sex. If you realize you are looking at the same sex inappropriately then it is time to repent.  we all suffer from temptation some for gluttony, some for fornication, some for greed, some for sodomy but in the end there is a day when we cannot live in denial anymore and we must repent of those things that make us weak and then God will turn our weakness into strengths.  I do not believe that God will let us sin without us not coming to a realization of the sin and as long as a gay person tries to defend their rights as a gay person they will always have someone say that is wrong and repent. I fear for the day when no one will say repent anymore and tolerance becomes the norm.

We may be talking past one another.  I don't think an individual with same sex attraction is sick in the head; I am saying that the individual is attracted to the same sex just as you are attracted to the opposite sex.  The individual is most attracted to others of their same gender.  The Church has said that simply having this type of attraction is not a sin - the sin occurs when an individual acts upon it.

I have read nothing by Church leaders or anyone in the medical field that can explain why an individual has these feelings, but they are real feelings.  Incidentally, I believe that we come to this earth with our character, our way of being, intact.  The problems and challenges we will experience are meant for us individually.  I believe that any individual that seeks after God the Father through his Son, Jesus Christ, will be made whole in the eternities.  This wholeness comes from being in complete union with God - we will be one with him as Jesus is one with him.

It is a fool's errand to attempt to explain why a gay person is gay - no one mortal knows why.  The position of the Church is that if anyone acts on those feelings in a sexual manner will commit sin.

A gay person is a sinner exactly like everyone else is a sinner.  We may observe their sinful nature more easily than others, BUT, be assured that everyone else is a sinner and many are far worse sinners than your typical gay person.

The Spirit of Christ tolerates no sin - regardless of its nature.  The Church says to all people of the world to come, repent, and enter into the Kingdom of God.  We do not need to quibble over who has more sins than another or even who is the bigger sinner.  Our main responsibility is to focus on our own sins, the need for our own repentance, and have compassion on everyone else that is in the same boat as we find ourselves, which is a state in need of constant repentance.

If we are going to point a finger at another to judge them, let us first judge them/accuse them of being human.  After that there is nothing more to say unless we are asking God to set up a new standard to judge us rather than use a judgment of mercy.  You see, when we really begin to judge others - to be unforgiving or compassionate - we are really just asking God to judge us more harshly than he normally would.

Let us be a source of peace in the world by sharing the Savior's peace with all those who are willing to heed the call to come unto him.  Let us be patient with all those that struggle and have not yet found or are not yet willing to follow the Savior.  Additionally, let us be merciful with ourselves and with others.

I suppose it comes down to 2 things should any government and church permit Sodomy or should it continue with the law of buggery?

In the period of the US President Obama administration Israel has moved more towards accepting the most evil perversions of the abominations of Sodom and Gomorrah and rejecting the former law against buggery.  In Israel same-sex couples are now allowed to jointly adopt after a court decision in 2008, also in Israel today gays and lesbians are allowed to serve openly in the Israeli military.

The State of Israel inherited its sodomy or "buggery" law from the British Mandate's legal code. Israel courts received cases of defendants that were found guilty of "sodomy" (which according to Israeli law includes oral sex as well). Israel´s sodomy or "buggery" law was also used on occasion as "aggravating circumstances" for other sexual offences. Israel also has cases of soldiers tried for homosexual acts in military courts.

The government enforced the death sentence penalty for homosexual activity of any sort.

A male or female convicted of the crime of homosexuality activity would be sentenced to death by hanging. The Buggery Act 1533, formally An Acte for the punishment of the vice of Buggerie (25 Hen. 8 c. 6), was an Act of the Parliament of England that was passed during the reign of Henry VIII. It was the country's first civil sodomy law, such offences having previously been dealt with by the ecclesiastical courts.

The Act defined buggery as an unnatural sexual act against the will of God and man. This was later defined by the courts to include only **** penetration and bestiality.  The law against buggery would remain a capital offence until 1861. The Act was piloted through Parliament by Thomas Cromwell. The Act established punishment of buggery by hanging, a penalty lifted in 1861.

According to the Act:

... the offenders being hereof convicted by verdict confession or outlawry shall suffer such pains of death and losses and penalties of their good chattels debts lands tenements and hereditaments as felons do according to the Common Laws of this Realm. And that no person offending in any such offence shall be admitted to his Clergy.

Since the USA president Obama administration launched a new set of rights and laws for gays and lesbians today we see Israel has become totally corrupted by homosexual activity.

Obama stated on March 15, 2007, that "I do not agree...that homosexuality is immoral."  During the July 23, 2007 CNN/YouTube debate, Obama further stated that "... we've got to make sure that everybody is equal under the law. And the civil unions that I proposed would be equivalent in terms of making sure that all the rights that are conferred by the state are equal for same-sex couples as well as for heterosexual couples." Obama also called for full equality for gays during his second inaugural address on January 21, 2013: “Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law — for if we are truly created equal, then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal as well." This was the first time that a president mentioned gay rights or the word gay in an inaugural address.

The Obama campaign responded to criticism in a press release, saying, "I strongly believe that African Americans and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transvestite community must stand together in the fight for equal rights. And so I strongly disagree with Reverend McClurkin's views and will continue to fight for these rights as president of the United States to ensure that America is a country that spreads tolerance instead of division." For events held Sunday, October 28, 2007, Obama added Reverend Andy Sidden, an openly gay pastor.

Sharon Lubinski, the first openly gay woman in her position, was formally nominated the U.S. marshal for the Minnesota district by President Obama on October 2009 and then confirmed by the Senate in December 2009. On January 4, 2010, Amanda Simpson was appointed by Obama the Senior Technical Advisor to the Department of Commerce, being possibly the first transgender person appointed to a government post by a US President.

Today Israel has one of the largest rainbow gay lesbian gatherings in the world.  Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) rights in Israel have generally been seen as one of the most advanced in the Middle East and Asia. Same-sex sexual activity was legalized in 1988, and Israel became the first in Asia to recognize unregistered cohabitation between same-sex couples, making it the only country in Asia to recognize any same-sex union thus far. Tel Aviv has frequently been referred to by publishers as one of the most gay friendly cities in the world, famous for its annual Pride Parade and gay beach, earning it the nickname "the gay capital of the Middle East" by Out magazine. According to LGBT travelers, it was ranked as the best gay city in 2011.

Three times the perversions of abominations to make desolation is mentioned by Daniel (the prophet.)

The abomination of desolation (or desolating sacrilege) is a term found in the Book of Daniel in the Hebrew Bible.

This kind of tirade kinda makes not saying Merry Christmas being proof that there is a war against Christianity kinda pathetic doesn't it.

Unfortunately Aron is not the only one who has these attitudes.  It is something that I have had to live with my whole life.  I am not threatened by this kind of bigotry and hatred. We as a gay community have only grown stronger and more sure of our rights to equal protection under the laws of this country.  This kind of hatred and bigotry affirms our resolve to push back against those who would pass laws to limit our freedom for the simple reason that we are gay.  While it is perfectly legal in this country to have such religious views, it is not perfectly legal to pass laws that make these ideas of discrimination and bigotry legal.  This is what we fight for.  And if you believe in an America where everyone is treated equally under the laws of this country I invite you to join the gay community and millions of Americans to fight for the rights of every citizen in this country.  I firmly believe that fighting for our rights is also a fight to protect your rights.

Did he give any examples of actual threats to religious freedom? Strong rhetoric against gay marriage opponents might be upsetting, but it's hardly a threat to religious freedom.

I didn't see any examples given in the article.

He said, "Critics now openly ask whether religion belongs in American public life at all...Some even claim, with no sense of history, that religious people and institutions violate the constitutional separation of church and state if they bring their beliefs into the public square"

I wonder if Elder Christofferson would tolerate Atheist messages in the public square. Would he defend the freedom of speech of Atheists?

Yeah I think everyone should just discard the idea that our Lord should not be legislating morality through his church.

Somebody needs to do it and our Lord and his authorized servants are the best equipped and most knowledgeable about how to do it correctly.

Then he needs to come back and do it himself.

I'll cross that bridge when I get there. In the mean time I'll keep my religion out of others politics, if they'll keep their politics out of my religion. To me it doesn't matter if he comes to me or I go to him as long as the results are the same. :)

thank you Jeanne,

I wish there were more people concerned about the Clintons and  worked together to reverse all their evil works of darkness.

My hope that a restoration of righteousness would prevail that would help cleanse the government once and for all of the secret combinations that have caused sin to prosper.

What concerns me is the fact that although the homosexual community are trying to be recognized as having the same equals right to marry as a man and woman would according to Matthew chapter 19:5, the Book of Mormon clearly states that the gentiles also be in submission to God and His laws or they will be swept off the land.

The laws of God according to the apostle of Christ says: 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'?Matthew 19:5.

I never thought in my life time that the USA government would encourage homosexuals to be married under the civil law act.

I never thought the US would pass such a bill recognizing same sex marriage but if righteous men of God could rescue the US government and establish righteousness according to the Book of Mormon then America will not fall under the condemnation of the promises made in Ether 2:

And he had sworn in his wrath unto the brother of Jared, that whoso should possess this land of promise, from that time henceforth and forever, should serve him, the true and only God, or they should be swept off when the fulness of his wrath should come upon them.

And now, we can behold the decrees of God concerning this land, that it is a land of promise; and whatsoever nation shall possess it shall serve God, or they shall be swept off when the fulness of his wrath shall come upon them. And the fulness of his wrath cometh upon them when they are ripened in iniquity.

10 For behold, this is a land which is choice above all other lands; wherefore he that doth possess it shall serve God or shall be swept off; for it is the everlasting decree of God. And it is not until the fulness of iniquity among the children of the land, that they are swept off.

11 And this cometh unto you, O ye Gentiles, that ye may know the decrees of God—that ye may repent, and not continue in your iniquities until the fulness come, that ye may not bring down the fulness of the wrath of God upon you as the inhabitants of the land have hitherto done.
