I am sorry, but I disagree completely.  No one should be able to use religion as a weapon to justify legal discrimination in a place of business or government workplace  or in housing..  I know there is a long tradition of using religion to justify discrimination including discriminating against blacks, Jews, women and now gays.  But it never was the right thing to do.  And just as in the past, those that try and use the Bible to support their bigoted behavior deserve to be shamed.  And just as in the past, the courts will strike down these new laws designed to legalize discrimination.  Having religious beliefs does not allow you to break the civil rights laws that have been the law of this country for the past 50 years.  People have every right to push back against such misguided beliefs.

I would go one step further and include what Christ said Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
in other words even the mere thought that you are sexually attracted to the same sex is abomination but if you are sexually attracted to the opposite sex then you have committed adultery. I believe we are a generation os desensatized to the spirit of fornication that we actaully have receive the spirit of tolerance to permit such lusts as justification of being human. The truth is we need to fight the good fight against all the firey darts of Satan using fornication as his tool to defile our temples. What does lust and fornication have to do with being gay?  I never watched Power Rangers or Wonder Woman.  I am still gay.

I was an adolescent when Lynda Carter was Wonder Woman on TV, and I admit I found her quite attractive. Why am I not gay? I met her a few years later after my mission, and still thought she was beautiful physically. Yet, the gay seems to have eluded me.

so according to you a troll is someone that speaks using the word of God from the Bible and bases his faith of the interpretation of Jesus Christ´s teaching instead of sigmund freud theories. According to the last time I read the Book of Mormon, the Moroni was straight and so was Nephi. I do not see anywhere on this Mormon dialogue blog that says the the prophet Mormon was gay. The Buggery Act 1533, formally An Acte for the punishment of the vice of Buggerie (25 Hen. 8 c. 6), was an Act of the Parliament of England that was passed during the reign of Henry VIII. It was the country's first civil sodomy law, such offences having previously been dealt with by the ecclesiastical courts.

The Act defined buggery as an unnatural sexual act against the will of God and man. This was later defined by the courts to include only **** penetration and bestiality.  The law against buggery would remain a capital offence until 1861. Aron, I think you are confusing two issues.  Individuals merit hell by choosing to sin.  An individual who has SSA or is "gay" is not consciously choosing sin any more than anyone else.  It takes action to commit sin - specifically homosexual behavior - to commit sin.  There is a big difference and we need to be extremely clear on this distinction.

we all suffer from temptation some for glutony, some for fornication, some for greed, some for sodomy but in the end there is a day when we cannot live in denial anymore and we must repent of those things that make us weak and then God will turn our weakness into strengths.

I do not believe that God will let us sin without us not coming to a relization of the sin and as long as a gay person tries to defend their rights as a gay person they will always have someone say that is wrong and repent. I fear for the day when no one will say repent anymore and tolerance becomes the norm.

we all suffer from temptation some for glutony, some for fornication, some for greed, some for sodomy but in the end there is a day when we cannot live in denial anymore and we must repent of those things that make us weak and then God will turn our weakness into strengths.

I do not believe that God will let us sin without us not coming to a relization of the sin and as long as a gay person tries to defend their rights as a gay person they will always have someone say that is wrong and repent. I fear for the day when no one will say repent anymore and tolerance becomes the norm.

LGTBQ self-identified persons only make up about 3.8% of the population. http://www.gallup.com/poll/183383/americans-greatly-overestimate-percent-gay-lesbian.aspx  Maybe they aren't the societal danger some are making them out to be?  Maybe we should leave them alone and concentrate on more pressing problems?
