How is Christmas weather shaping up in your part of the country?

Just wondering how your Christmas weather is looking like? I live in Georgia, so over the 58 years of my life, I only know of one snowy Christmas in my 58 years of living. But usually it is cold and feels more like Christmas here, but not this year. Last night we had terrible thunder storms and tornado watches. Last night my wife and I had a sleep over with five of our granddaughters who were frightened by intense thunder and lightening. Our weather tomorrow could have temps approaching 75-80 degrees. They tell us this is the warmest December on record for the State. :(

So tell me of your white Christmas stories, so I can live vicariously with your stories. :)

Oh...Have a Merry Christmas to you all.

It is gently snowing as I type this .We have a couple of inches on the ground. White Christmas for sure. Temperature is around 17 degrees F . We have had a very mild fall.

Merry Christmas to each member here and a special greeting to the Mods for their efforts this year.

I'm in Oregon.  It's wet and gray.   I'm originally from snow country and no matter how many years go by, no snow on Christmas still seems wrong.

I'm in SE Idaho.  It snowed steadily yesterday, and still continues.  We will have a white Christmas. :)  Several years ago, we had a Christmas Day snow storm so bad, that we almost didn't make it to my parents' for Christmas dinner.  By New Year's Day, the snow had all melted.

I live in Logan, Utah...Brrrr...snowed good yesterday but partly cloudy today.  White enough for Santa!

Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and to degrees here in Mesa. Quite a bit chiller than it was 2 years ago when we first arrived here, but nothing like my growing up winters in Logan or the 18 years I had in the Salt Lake valley.

A tornado touched down Tuesday night. Wednesday was a beautiful 'shorts and t shirt' day. This morning as I'm waiting for family to wake up we've got a monster thunder and lightning rainstorm. A tree in the front yard just came down. It's really kind if awe inspiring!

I'm in the state just north of you papa. Hope everyone stays safe and sound this Christmas!

The weather my not feel like Christmas past, but joy of family and love made up for any grey skies.

Over the last three weeks or so it has been raining virtually every darned day.  It may even have been longer, I've lost count.  But today, miracle of miracles, it hasn't rained over Olympia, Washington, not even once, as the sky was beautifully blue and clear-- with clouds on every horizon, meaning that Seattle and Portland, OR, were wet and gray, as Raingirl said.

I don't know what we did to deserve it, but I am not looking the gift horse in the mouth.

Spent the week around Nashville, 70's and wet the whole time.  Just came home to 1.5' of snow and -18 this morning
