Yep, looks authentic:

World News Daily Report is an American Jewish Zionist newspaper based in Tel Aviv and dedicated on covering biblical archeology news and other mysteries around the Globe.
Our News Team is composed of award winning christian, muslim and jewish journalists, retired Mossad agents and veterans of the Israeli Armed Forces. We are based in Tel Aviv since 1988 where are published more then 200,000 copies of our Daily Report paper edition everyday.

The World News Daily Report is basically an online tabloid. So unless you believe that Bigfoot's love child was born last week and that the Chinese are drilling a hole through the earth to shoot missiles at the US I would ignore this report. Snopes gave them their own page. :)

Well if you believe what is printed in the Enquirer  and other tabliod rags then WNDR is not much more of a stretch.

If you go to their home page and read some of their other stories you get a sense of their standards of journalism.

Saw this going around. Anyone know what this is about? Is it satire or something serious?

What does BYU say about it? They are sitting on the archaeological results from Adam-ondi-Ahman . Why would they not sit on this?

I can't tell whether you're serious or not? Why not? Coz the story is made up.

How do you know, maybe someone just made them for fun, or have they been proven to be of that time period?   Oh no, there go...

worldnewdailyreport doesn't have a lot of credibility.

No, this is World News Daily Report.  It's much, much better than that no-good World New Daily Report, but people often get them confused.

Tacenda, it's a made up story with a photo of actual plates. They weren't found in the hill Cumorah. If they had been it would be on far more website than this one.
