Anyone read Suzanne Freeman’s nde 📕?

You could of read them for free on her website.  🤷‍♂️ if that website is still 🆙.  Had epic 🤰 like Betty Eddie and claims to have nde.  Said Jesus grabbed her arms and wouldn’t let her go.  She had to negotiate with him.  Had seven 👦 still at home and husband was truck driver so she needed to be with 👦.  They would of had to live with relatives and separated if she passed away,  So she argued with Jesus and won?  Doesn’t an omnipotent God know the situations beforehand.

She did mention some people do go early why did she not go?  Used her agency to stay here.  People do plead in mortality for protection and health.  The Lord does answer some pleadings but does permit other people to have trials.  We had lady and one of her daughters in our ward killed in crash, rest of siblings survived.  Husband was not there.  Visiting relatives and family members bore testimony of comfort.  One lady then bore testimony of being protected driving on 🧊.  She was protected but we had death same day.

Then had to meet Joseph Smith because she argued with the son of God and won.  If the Lord wants to call someone 🏠 he will.  His will always prevails.  Joseph wanted to shake 🙌 with the woman that told the Som of God no.  Had 🥘 with a Joseph amd Emma Smith there.  Joseph did back flips.  Met other prophets.  Met some of her relatives too.

Visited with Adam and Eve in garden settting and talked about childbirth and raising kids.  Met Enoch and people in his city.  Ar,it’s of Helamen and 📕 of Mormon prophets.  Would the aforementioned people be resurrected and not in the Spirit 🌎?  Are Ressurected beings there?

Another 📖 talked about many members having to move.  Similar to Daybell 📕.  There was an invasion and Ten Tribes came to the 🛟.  There are still a few High Priests in every ward I 🤔 that believe the Ten Tribes are 🙈 somewhere.  However there posterity is among us not ideas we heard growing up.  She saved someone from drowning.

Mentioned meeting founding Fathers, Joan of arc and righteous us presidents.  Wrote 📚 on that meeting.  They never used tobacco or 🍺 and we’re chaste.  They didn’t like stories told about them like that.  Will take things personal of what people said centuries later they never met?  At that time some people may have abhorred 🚬 and drinking.  However I am sure many people including some of the founders did use alcohol and tobaco.

Are you sure there was less than nine months between marriages and birth of first 👦 among some of them?  Are there myths attributed to Patrick Henry’s death?

The story about founders declaration  signers being hunted down 🏠 burning is a myth.  Some lost 🏠 in war do to being in path and fought in war but we’re not singled out.  Most lived out there lives normal.  What did she see there?

A byu professor wrote a rebuttal to Betty Eddie’s 📖 called embarrassed by the 💡.  Could rebut some of her claims.  She saw Jesus playing childhood games with 👦 there.  Children that died young and were in that form.  I thought we were all adults there. She actually danced with Jesus and he is a perfect dancer.  Saw Jesus sing primary songs about his Second Coming.  😍 pitch too.

How much of what she wrote is true and I 💭 if much of that was delusion?  In 🌍 time she was gone a few minutes but time measured different there.  I think Boyd K. Packer said Betty Eddie’s book was hogwash she couldn’t of been everywhere she said.  Freeman got her memory of that event restored years later.

Aborted souls were reassigned.  Is that doctrine.  Saw a son yet to be born was aborted.  People that intentionally chose not to have 👦 or limit them she saw them reassigned.  Nde,s aren’t source of ️ doctrine.  Freeman eventually divorced her husband. I don’t  🤷‍♀️ or care why.  But needed to stay with 👦 because husband was long haul trucker and she needed to be with her children couldn’t die yet.

Who read her books and who would put stock in them?

Similar to Daybell

Daybell worked with her and then dumped her when Rowe came along iirc. I saw one interview with her explaining background to the Daybell case. Iirc she came right out and said Daybell and Rowe were ripping off her and others for their alleged NDEs.

Joseph Smith said mothers would have the chance to raise their children, so that fits.

My understanding is she was/is? pretty big in the AVOW type of groups.  She was talked quite a bit on LDS Freedom Forum, which is where I came across her when I was checking out Julie Rowe’s backstory.

I had a friend in one of my ward's who was a friend of Betty Eadie. She said she knew her before and after her experience and writing her book. That when Eadie wrote her book the publisher didn't think it was exciting/ interesting enough so she added a bunch of things to it and she started believing (or seemed to believe) the changes were real.

Ok @grapevine I gotta ask.  How come all the emojis?  I'm not taking issue with them, it's just this is the first time I've ever seen a post on a message board written in partial emoji.  There's gotta be a story there.

Yeah, I don't speak emoji very well.  I had a hard time following the train of thought due to all the disruptions as I paused to figure out what the emojis meant.  And some of those emojis I was unable to figure out and thus some sentences I didn't understand.  Or, in other words, :unknw:

After the changes, the editor considered retitling the book, "The Aristocrats: An NDE Perspective"!
