    I hear that manufacturers are increasing the distance between the rungs of ladders due to people getting taller. This is being announced as " climb-it-change " 🙃

    As long as people are not bowing to and worshipping said statue, I guess fine, as I said it ' bends the commandment' not breaks it. I have noticed that many of the LDS temples do not have a " Moroni " on top. I also notice that Muslims are much more strict about images than Christians.

    Personally, I am not a fan of statues inside or outside of a chapel. It borders on bending the second commandment. Exodus 20:4-6: “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of -__anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; Then again there is that pesky AoF which says we allow folks to worship " how where and what they may "

    Assuming, for the sake of argument , that life in the spirit world after we pass over has some similarities with mortal life, I wonder if Elvis still gives concerts... if George Carlin is doing comedy but has had to clean up the act some... if Christopher Hichens has adjusted his thinking about God ? This ties to the larger question as to just how much of the veil is lifted on the other side.

    Hmmm I heard rumors of this when I was working in the area over 50 years ago. Maybe just a " faith promoting rumor " , however .. I guess there was evidence behind it.

    Maybe separate the genders after sacrament. Youth in 2 different rooms, adults in 2 different rooms. Then just switch teachers not the people.😏

    Age is just a number. I know 50 year olds that should not be driving and 90 year olds who are still cross-country skiing. The current method of picking the President does seem to limit the political maneuvering found in other institutions

    Time to invest in a security camera or two. That, and the Elder's quorum could be given a patrol schedule, and a couple of paint guns.🙄

    In my area we have not had YM go around collecting Fast Offerings for many years. Each ward, however, has a project in which they go to all people within the ward boundaries and solicit funds for the YMYW program. All funds raised go specifically to the youth programs. To my knowledge, there have been no negative responses.

    Served in Central America in the late 1960's during the rebellions. We shrugged of the occasional body in the streets and the machine gun toting helicopters circling overhead.. Our major concern was coping with " Gambu " , otherwise known as the Aztec Two-Step.🤢
