savedwheat Posted January 26, 2016 Author Posted January 26, 2016 Mount Olympus is the largest mountain in the solar system. John was on that great high mountain viewing the New City 1379 x 1379 miles.

Those who are transferred livingly at the end of the millennial kingdom who are not resurrected live outside the New City on the New Earth with bodies of flesh and blood and procreate. There is no sin or selfishness. They go into the New City to receive renewal of their bodies from the Tree of Life because the body is inherently weak. Those who go to Hell do not live on the New Earth. Thanks for the answer. It's interesting, and something I haven't heard before. So, where does the notion that Mars is the New Earth come from? For example, within the Latter-day Saint faith the earth is consumed by fire at Jesus' 2nd coming, but then renewed as the New Earth. It's not an all to uncommon belief for other churches, though certainly not universally accepted. But this is the first I've heard of Mars.
Zakuska Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 (edited) I think we are seeing the formation of "mystery babylon" with the name of Blasphemy on her forehead. Or in her forhead. Mars on the brain so to speak. Edited January 26, 2016 by Zakuska
halconero Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Seriously, savedwheat...I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but this is a good discussion. Tell us what you believe, but don't tell us what we believe, and we'll respect the same. That doesn't mean our beliefs are off limits, or that you have refrain from calling into question out salvation, but if you frame it as a humble discussion, ask questions, respond respectfully...you'll get a lot more flies with that kind of honey than vinegar. 1
savedwheat Posted January 26, 2016 Author Posted January 26, 2016 The Bible says earth will be without the sea because of the heat from the sun drying it up. But at that point Mars will be quite habitable. It's a no brainer. That's a long ways a way. First Jesus must reign on earth for 1000 years with His overcomers over the nations. Before that happens there is the Tribulation 2023-2030.

The tallest mountian in the solar system is named. Rheasilvia https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rheasilvia

Which refers to the sea of the peoples of the world, like the "sea of the Gentiles" etc. Revelation itself makes it clear the sea is peoples, nations and tongues. Revelation 17:15 15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. In actuality the seas are not going to dry up, but expand and they will "not know their bounds" and the earth is going to get very hot. 1

Couple of questions: - Where do you get the habitable Mars bit from? - Why that specific date for the Tribulation period?
Calm Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 (edited) Saved, I just want to let you know I appreciate you sharing your beliefs in more detail here and answering questions. It is easier to understand done this way than in the questions set up on the message board, plus some questions that occurred to me weren't answered. It is beginning to feel like a system of beliefs and not just random comments of approved teachings stuck together. I sense a pattern but do not see it yet, so to speak. Very helpful. add-on: not to overwhelm you with too many questions at once, but I am hoping that after this discussion about New Earth and the times leading up to it is more or less concluded and perhaps some discussion on the nature of God in the Creation thread has been achieved, you might speak of what a typical conversion process might be for those who you see as your fellow Christian that share in the beliefs of the 37 questions (please pardon me if I am using terminology wrong; use of Terminology is easier to learn in conversation than in reading articles) as it may help us understand concept when we can see them in action. Perhaps you might even be willing to share with us how you first came across these beliefs or the people who taught you or found others who thought the same online. I vaguely remember reading someting that seemed like ahistory of the website, but it seemed to me to leave out a lot of information on how the group finds each other, recognition is given, and the placing of apostles and 'elders, deacons and others occurs; Edited January 26, 2016 by Calm

That's supposed to be off limits and best just to leave it alone unless you're chosen as someone who will be sent there. Earth is still going to be the best planet in this solar system though, even after it gets terraformed at the end of our Lord's millennial reign.

Before that happens there is the Tribulation 2023-2030. It's a no-brainer for sure. Show me ANYWHERE in scripture that states the "New Earth" will be Mars. I'm sure you are referring to: Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. This refers to the resurrection of the earth and directly compares to the resurrection of the body - even to the "no more sea" symbolism connected to "no more blood". Not a new planet, and absolutely no mention of Mars. 1
