unless you can show historically a continuous chain of denominations with the exactly the same beliefs as you operating since the time of Christ.

His group doesn't claim this as far as I can tell.  There is a "recovery" timeline given where various doctrines are brought back? by individuals starting with Luther:

What I would like to know is since there is the claim that there are 12 Apostles in each generation, the names of all these apostles since the time of Christ.  This belief does not seem that consistent with the idea of recovery though.

Couldn't find any of the 12 Apostles' names for this generation, let alone others though.

Saved has now been banned and likely would not have discussed this anyway given his posting history, so we may never know.

Apparently this is how the group sees church history (the author is Watchman Nee, who may or may not have agreed with everything Brooks' envisions as far as I can tell):

They had a freaking timeline of the recovery of their version of true doctrine and he was ragging on us for being restorationists?? Brother...

Awwww....well, it was fun while it lasted. To be fair, he did have some interesting points, such as the presence of the KJV in the Book of Mormon, but it really isn't surprising.

Are you sure he's banned?  His profile doesn't seem to show that.

Mod writing said "this poster has been removed" iirc.  Might have just meant from the thread but don't they usually use "from the thread" when they do that?

All you need to know is that you are in a cult when you claim the church disappeared for 18 centuries. Your heart will begin to change when you accept that.

Father is the beginning and end. Jesus is the beginning and end. Trinity.

Luther, Calvin, Augustine were not saved because they were Calvinists

Catholics are not saved because they are non-OSAS and amillennial.

So Savedwheat, it appears that you believe in general, people who don't believe similar to what you believe are going to hell, is that correct?

Do you also believe they will then burn forever in a lake of fire?

It's not 12 Apostles every generation but a desire to find 12 of them in agreement for what qualifies as proper teaching to have the authority to appoint Elders of each church locality. There are more than 12 of course, but at least 12 are needed. Seems reasonable.

No, no, no, no!

You don't, or shouldn't, ASK what he believes.

You TELL him what he believes.

Just do it his way or don't do it at ALL!!!!!!

I was just clarifying that you believe Mormons are going to Hell, not Mars.

Where is Hell, btw?

So there are more than 12 in each generation?

Quote

("He was seen...then of the twelve" (1 Cor. 15.5); "after that, He was seen...then of all the apostles" (v.7) indicating there are Apostles every generation"

Can you identify any of the Apostles, either of the 12 deciding proper teaching or apostles over regions or local apostle if that is the correct term in this or previous generations?

Ditto this question. I'm genuinely curious.

How does that seem reasonable? And by what authority do you add to the Scriptures?

The New Earth (Mars) is where the saved live with Christ and the Father after the Millennium, correct?  Those who have overcomed (been cleansed of the flesh) live in the New City and those saved who have not overcomed live outside, in an existence that seems much like earth from what I read.

Have I understood correctly?

All the resurrected saved live in the New City on the New Earth and don't procreate. They are the pillars. Those who are transferred livingly at the end of the millennial kingdom who are not resurrected live outside the New City on the New Earth with bodies of flesh and blood and procreate. There is no sin or selfishness. They go into the New City to receive renewal of their bodies from the Tree of Life because the body is inherently weak.

Those who go to Hell do not live on the New Earth.

I need to tell you what is on my heart that I know Mormons are going to Hell because they think they always existed alongside God even though God said there is none beside Him. He alone is from everlasting, and that Jesus created all things; nothing exists that exists without Him having created it. Also many express salvation can be lost once saved which is salvation by self strength or works. This shows you did not give your life to the God who keeps and never lets go; now that's a God you can trust in. Since God the Father is God and Jesus is God and the Spirit is God the Godhead is One Being in 3 Persons, Co-Equal, Co-Inherent, One Substance, Distinct but Not Separate in the 3 Persons.

Thank you for coming and play the role of Judge and God. You are however wrong, even if right, you are not who decides such things. So again thank you for your words, and your concern.

You all do know that what 'savedwheat' is promoting is actually Satan worship?

The Devil is from mars ya know.  The RED planet is traditionally linked to Satan worship and the war in heaven and the fallen watchers.

The name, Mars, came from Satan.  It refers to Satan as the god of war, who was defeated when Jesus Christ paid for the sins of the world on the Cross.  The name, Mars, is blasphemy.  The Romans, who were hoodwinked by the devil, named the planet; and scientists, who are no smarter, have continued the deception.  This is just another lie of Satan, the master of deceit, in an attempt to hide the truth of the Cross.

Why Gods New Jerusalem would take up residence on Satans Planet is anyones guess.

Thank you.

Do those outside the City eventually die and then are resuurected or are they eternally living outside the City and procreating?  What happens to their children?
