No, you just believe the doctrine of salvation of grace which was not believed in the first Christians and was instead invented over a thousand years later when the Protestants showed up. Over a thousand years with all Christians going to hell before Luther and the rest showed up to tell you what the Savior really meant. Sounds a lot like an apostasy and a restoration to me. I suppose ignorance of history lets you ignore this fact. 8
Popular Post halconero Posted January 24, 2016 Popular Post Posted January 24, 2016 Since I'm tired of trying to reach Nehor-levels of snark I'll just post the scripture in reference: “Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. 2 For with the judgment you make you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get." Jesus doesn't say don't judge because if you commit the same mistake you'll be judged the same. He gives a pretty blanket statement: If you judge people you'll be judged the same. Usurp God's authority over judgement and you'll be judged by the same condemnation you gave others. Anyways, Goodnight 7

So for example, I could accuse you of doing something wrong, but since I am not doing that thing you are doing, I am not judged. I am not guilty with you.

Yeah, you just ignore that this whole concept did not exist in the First Century AD and showed up later. If you want to put your faith in the teachings of the Protestant reformers you can but it is disingenuous to claim you are following Christ when he put all kinds of conditions on salvation throughout his ministry. 3

I have no need to worry about you being correct about Mormons going to hell, as this post yet again demonstrates that you have zero reading comprehension skills - especially when it comes to the scriptures. But if it were true that people like you were the ones going to heaven, I'd happily go to hell. 4

I even believed that version and meant it sincerely. I acknowledged to God that I am a sinner and asked him to forgive me my sins and save me. So on the odd chance God is impressed with that kind of sorcery I am covered. 5

That's pride which prevents you from being saved, and rejecting the Jesus who created all things. A lesser Jesus will not save you.

Assuming you are correct about the nature of God, couldn't a sincere confession of faith in Jesus such as Nehor's alleged one described above save one from that sin of pride, and the apparent sin of erring in doctrine concerning Jesus' Godhood? Or can Jesus' grace only save those who confess his name, AND fully understand the metaphysics of the triune God? 7
Avatar4321 Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I have every intention of going to hell someday, just as Christ did. And I hope to declare liberty to those in bondage there, just as he did. And share with them the news that because of Him we will rise from the grave and rejoin our bodies. Because of Him our sins are forgiven. We will go to hell and preach the gospel of deliverance. We will cast out the devil and make it a lovely place. 2

Bible teaches if you are not saved before you die, you will never be saved. Anyone who goes to Hell stays in Hell forever. No baptizing for the dead. That's entirely delusional. savedwheat Posted January 24, 2016 Author Posted January 24, 2016 Just now, The Nehor said: More works to be saved? Now I have to accept your triune God and Plato's metaphysics to be saved? There sure are a lot of works in this salvation by grace thing. If you were really saved already you would have accepted the Triune God, for if you see the Son you see the Father, and Jesus created all things; nothing exists that exists without Him having created it, so nothing exists beside God before time and space.

Another boring dodge that has basically nothing to do with what I said. If you quote someone on this message board it is considered polite to at least pretend you read what they said and are responding to it. Instead you are pretending I claimed salvation and that I have claimed to have literally seen Jesus and then ramble about some pagan metaphysics and mingle it badly with the scriptures. 1

Also many express salvation can be lost once saved which is salvation by self strength or works. This shows you did not give your life to the God who keeps and never lets go; now that's a God you can trust in. Since God the Father is God and Jesus is God and the Spirit is God the Godhead is One Being in 3 Persons, Co-Equal, Co-Inherent, One Substance, Distinct but Not Separate in the 3 Persons. From the many things I have observed that have been brought forth by your twisted and tormented mind, I'm confident in saying you are already in a hell of your own making. Now, now. 3
