I was surprised and overcome this morning by how impressive and spiritually uplifting the Assembly was. It was a blessing to be able to participate. 2

She later experienced something very traumatic and felt such a burden over her action that she needed to relearn it and needed the emphass. That isn't brainwashing. The success rate in brainwashing is also not very high. 3

Oaks mentioned that it will not be mentioned in Gen. Conf. but that it will be on LDS.org following conference or maybe he meant following his talk. I thought that was odd, or maybe not. Oh, and it sounds like the leaders are listening because just now Pres. Oaks mentioned how many of the new callings were given to members outside of the US. Oh dear we just heard a heckler that was yelling like three times about Bishop (?) couldn't quite make it out that they are a sexual predator. I think that was sort of silly.

If I remember right it was not new callings where he mentioned the countries, but the makeup of the general authorities - many of which have been there many years, but you are right - it does make it sound they are listening. I wonder with the new callings how much of a change that has been. I suspect not much. I agree that the shouting was silly.

I checked the page at https://www.lds.org/church/leaders?lang=eng which doesn't appear to be updated yet (besides the moving of the two new apostles) and checked how many were international. There's 44 General Authorities/Officers that were born in 27 different countries besides US. With 125 total General Authorities/Officers, that's 35.2%. Of the 8 new General Authorities, 3 are not from the US (this is from https://www.mormonnewsroom.org/article/new-general-authority-seventies-called-released-april-2018-general-conference). 1

I noticed several years ago that arrangements I had not noticed before were beginning to look like tossed salad. It has for the most part gone from bad to worse. The worst was the attempt to incorporate wood stumps into the salad. I didn't figure out what the heck it was until after conference. Sadly, this session is another fail. I call this one, thrown salad. One large plant on the left side of the screen looks like it didn't quite hit the bowl. It has a somewhat menacing look in a Venus Fly Trap sort of way. There is again, a strange beam of wood (?) looking stuff that looks like they forgot to remove it. Pulllleeezzze get some professionals!!

I served my mission in Fiji and remember vividly the smile, sense or humor, accent, and love the Fijian people carry with them. I can hardly remember what he said as I was caught up in memories from 1989 to 1991. Isa Lei!!! 2. Elder Oaks talk in Priesthood session will be worth studying and research for many months. There is NO WAY I can get everything out of that talk that I will need without research. It is an opportunity to receive revelation!!!! 2
