I will believe it when I see it.  This recording where the prosecutor is telling the sister of LVD they may even go for the death penalty is from months ago before she was interviewed by police and is, IMO, an attempt to get LVD to turn on Daybell who apparently Wood believes was the driver behind the deaths.  There has been nothing else actually announced.  I think this was a sensationalized headline to grab attention.

Disgusting of the reporters to refer to them as “their two children”. Chad Daybell was not their father, their stepfather or even a father-figure to them. He made sure they were out of the way before he married their mother.

Almost made it to second page:

police interview with Alex Cox Paternes’ widow (he took her name for some reason) and report on his death

Alex had gone to Mexico on the 7th to pick up new prescriptions for the two of them.  Wondering what they were now

https://m.facebook.com/kimpowelltv/?ref=m_notif&notif_t=group_activity&__nodl&refsrc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.websleuths.com%2Fforums%2Fthreads%2Fid-joshua-vallow-7-tylee-ryan-16-rexburg-sept-2019-arrests-55.551256%2Fpage-31&_rdr

Weirdly Melanie is mentioned living in Idaho, but not his sister and her kids or her new husband  guess she knew they were in Hawaii...at least the adults

Interview with Paternes’ daughter who didn’t know about marriage, neither did the son who found him because his mom called him to check...first time that had happened.  He suffers from anxiety apparently.  If his mom set him up to find the body to protect herself, bad, bad mother...but lots of those in this story unfortunately.  Zulema appears to have known he was sick because of a friend Alex wanted to give him a blessing over the phone.   She called her son a second time and told him to call 911.  Unless she was on the phone with Alex (have to read her interview) that is just weird.  She could have called 911 even so herself.

Zulema tried to have her daughter kick out the police

Thanks for your time and effort Calm! The story is definitely fishy, nothing would surprise me at this point.

Given the greater story I can easily see suspicious circumstances.  However, the reactions to police, insisting on going through a lawyer, etc. can also easily be explained by their prepper/antigovernment suspicions.  The whole elopement and not telling the son or daughter about it could also just be a result of embarrassment or discomfort on Pasternes’ part because her son or daughter mentioned she had a lot of live in boyfriends in the past, she is apparently a convert, but it doesn’t seem like her kids were.  I can see them either being less than enthusiastic about yet another man or making a thing about how she wasn’t living up to church standards if she had tried to convert them, so there was reluctance to open herself up to more criticism.

Otoh, it could also be her hiding behind her kids and then them realizing it was serious and wanting to protect her and themselves.

The apparent lack of any mention of Lori Vallow and her kids...this was after LVD and CD had taken off, could be legitimate worry that being connected in the minds of the police with another case might make police suspicious when they shouldn’t be or it could be worry because Zulema did know about the deaths of the kids or possibly it was about trying to not raise suspicions connected with Charles’ death.  Given she had known him for a year or more and her involvement with LVD, surely she knew Alex had killed Charles.

I doubt it but there really is no way to prove otherwise. I’m just thinking about all the people I know in the age brackets of the people in Lori’s circle who have died. It just defies the odds that those could all have been natural deaths. Hinky.

All natural, the probability is so not there; we know Charles wasn’t and burying the two kids....I will be shocked if Tammy’s is ruled natural...but Joseph Ryan, Alex, and her Texan lawyer might be.

So, who's going to write the definitive account of this sordid saga?  (I would nominate Ann Rule, if she were still alive ... :()  Nate What's-his-bucket of East Idaho News?  (OK, I looked it up, since it's disrespectful of the august gentleman to call him what's-his-bucket:  Nate Eaton?)

How many are definite murder victims of the Lori/Chad/Alex conspiracy:

Charles

Tammi

JJ

Tylee

Any more?

Also:  who else might be complicit with the murderers?

Posted (edited)

None are definite murder victims at this time iirc. I don’t believe they have released cause of death yet for the kids, the most obvious probable victims. I don’t think they have confirmed whether or not JJ was alive when taped up. He should, I am guessing, be the easiest to find cause of death.

Charles...claim is self defense where Alex was hit by Charles with a baseball bat. However, Charles was a muscular baseball player and if he had connected at all, it wouldn’t have been the minor bump that Alex seemed to forget he had. Still officially not a murder though.

Tammy Daybell...results have not been released yet. Seems probable murder due to timing.

JJ and Tylee, due to the week apart of deaths...while possible Tylee was accidental, killed in a fight for example, I don’t see JJ as anything but planned, probably was asking about his sister if there had been any ambivalence about killing him originally.  However the trip to Yellowstone as one last family outing to send her off well makes more sense to me, which means not accidental.

Alex....symptoms and his job point to natural death if reports of him not feeling well are not lies, but timing highly suspicious.

Complicit as in participating in them or knowing about them?

Melanie Gibb was not in Idaho and so it is reasonable she was not aware the kids were missing until asked to lie.

Melani P, the niece, never saw nor heard from the kids once she came to Idaho even while living in the same complex.  She used to be the kids’ nanny.  However, she adored her aunt and was apparently willing to believe her stories even when her own experience likely contradicted it (the horror stories about her dad and mom, she accepted the Cox version of her dad as abusive).  She is the most likely additional after the fact participant imo, but more likely just willing to believe lies.

Zulema...maybe involved in Alex’s death, but unlikely any others imo.

The newest update to the Handbook comes out against energy healing.  Sad that it was necessary.  It will be interesting to see what the fallout is.

This kind of thing is nothing new. Chinese and Japanese traditional medicine traditionally use treatments that could be and are described as "energy healing", and some such things are quite ancient. Years and years ago I knew a couple (non-LDS) who went around practicing Reiki as a treatment for some things (it's not "ancient", per se, but its definitely Japanese). As for monetary compensation mentioned in the Handbook, of course the couple charged for the service. People charge money for many services, even if they are bogus. For example, I am sure I can hire someone to find me a good spot to dig a well using divining rods. And I suppose that occasionally Reiki and other practices are effective, out of simple placebo effect if nothing else. It's not something to rely upon, for sure.

Interestingly, in one scene in the first Karate Kid film, Mr. Miyagi uses an apparent Reiki technique to help Daniel-san temporarily recover from an injury that was intended to take him out of the tournament he was contesting for.

Glad of the settlement. Due to the shared custody agreement, some who had expected Melani to lose all rights were speculating Bordeaux was guilty of those accusations after all and needing to hide his own evil deeds.

The autopsy report...this could mean there is evidence of homicide, but they need to get more evidence to solidly connect it to someone or it may be an attempt to put pressure on CD and LVD to confess when there is nothing there.  LVD’s lawyer is making public statements on Twitter it is all to taint a jury.

How long will it take to make the autopsy reports public?

As long as they want with an open investigation. It can go years, decades even from what I hear.

Julie Rowe is getting a divorce, none of it is her fault she wants to make clear.

want to make it clear that I am the one filing for divorce not Jeff. I left him. He is not leaving me. He does not want the divorce. I take full accountability and responsibility for this choice as I know it is the right thing to do to break abuse patterns in my marriage. I love him. I always have and I always will. But I cannot take it anymore and the Lord has made it very clear that I have fulfilled my covenants and I have been released

Abuse... maybe his refusal to go along with the constantly changing stories...maybe he thinks she should get counseling?  Maybe he refused to walk from the Church when she got excommunicated?

Went checking on  her because she was on Nancy Grace saying she had these creepy visions before Tammy died, etc...pity she never bothered to say anything and instead insisted the kids were fine and CD was innocent, etc.

Can’t confirm most of this, but they fall in line with what I have read before.  Number 2 is not surprising given it was Chad Daybell making money off her books.

There is a lot about JR that is not made “public” because those who denounced her to begin with were flogged in LDS circles, banned from AVOW, and kicked from FB pages. Why? Because most LDS members don’t know their doctrines well enough to know when someone is peddling false doctrines. Here are some things that convict JR.

1. She contradicts herself. She uses inflammatory language. She sets herself up as a prophetess and seer and sells her gifts. (I highly doubt she has any gifts.) The “visions” are just click bait to get you to buy something.

2. A group of AVOW members early on complained that her book was “their visions” and they were told to stop complaining and even banned (an admin was even banned). The message of the book was more important that the validity! Then, that group approached JR and asked her about a made up vision and JR said, “Oh yes, I saw that too.” They had what they needed to prove she was making it up as she went along. She even lied on the radio that she didn’t read other visions, yet she was on AVOW for three years before she wrote a book, and not once did she mention her visions until her book.

3. She was promoting behind the scenes for her place of refuge that for $1000 you can become a captain. She would harass the people she approached by phone, “The Lord sent me to tell you that you are a captain of our place of refuge, but we need $1k from you.” If they said “no”, she would hurl insults at them, “You are not a worthy priesthood holder, you are weak, you don’t fully understand what God is saying to you and you will not get another chance.” THAT IS AFFINITY FRAUD. Using your religion to entice others to buy something.

4. At her Weber State event she was either on medication or just out of this world. When 1/3 of the room got up and left, she blamed them for bringing in bad spirits and she needed them to leave.

5. Someone needs to ask her why she fired her bookkeeper. Where did she get the $$ for her 22 acre ranch in KS shortly after he was fired? Who is auditing the foundation? (No one.) She told Hector someone would betray her and the next day she fired the bookkeeper.

6. She told a private group in Rexburg that she was sealed to 140 men in the pre-mortal live and the church will practice polyandry someday. She is a Joan of Arc and her haters will kill her in she will be resurrected in 4 days after. She admitted she is hearing from John the Revelator about events. She is really sick and confused and people just keep feeding her approval because it gives them the approval they need to continue in their own priestcraft and divination practices.

There is more, this is just scratch, but it is enough to show the brethren are very concerned and she needs to be stopped since she didn’t heed their warnings to stop. It is apostasy, it is priestcraft, and it is hurting the image and name of the church to have someone defiant and slinging mud at the brethren

From the LDSFF last Nov (when she announced her divorce):

Quote

Her recent conference at the Salt Palace had several hundred attendees, who paid $350-$450 to watch her dance and speak....

Nope, in fact Julie is very open about the fact that she doesn’t give refunds ever. If you can’t attend, or if the state cancels the event (Rexburg cancelled one she had planned before the SLC one) your money goes toward another event later, or her other energy services. On her latest podcast, done just a few days ago, she announced a Jan event, and once again said that if it’s cancelled due to the fake flu, there will NO refunds. At least she is open about her pecuniary policy

Julie herself...

Elohim has let the energy play out longer in hopes of bringing more people into the light, as the wheat and the tares separate everywhere so that we can bring those in other galaxies and universes closer to ours for the big stand off. Even as we speak we are positioning motherships. It’s war isn’t it? Come on you guys, tap into that energy. Do you really think we are going to be at war and not have motherships positioned? I am talking in spirit realm and in physical realm. There really are aliens on the planet. ETs are a real thing. We are not going to get into it in these classes. You need to open your minds and your hearts and then ask when you are doing those sessions. Ask for permission. They will not show you where those ships are. That’s top secret. The 144k are archangels. It’s not an exact number. They come from multiple planets. We have those on our planet. They have not been gathered yet. They have already been identified and are being identified. We have a backup for a backup for a backup. Many are called. Few actually fulfill that compared to how many tried out. These are our top warriors. Multiple lives. Multiple planets and galaxies coming together to fight the dark empire and to gather the Lord’s elect, not only from the four corners of the earth, but from those light realms for a huge battle.” - Julie Rowe, 10/24/2020, 2:36 pm
