I almost went to see (Cloverfield) it but read mixed reviews. I've also read that the ending is disappointing. Plus the idea of watching 3 people stuck in a bunker didn't appeal. BB if you see it let us know how you like it.

You should go see this and not listen to me.  It was really good, I'm just not into certain aspects of movies that a lot of people enjoy.  You'll see what I mean if you go see it.

Tonight there is a double feature at Stationpark that I'm thinking of seeing...http://www.cinemark.com/theatre-detail.aspx?node_id=22200&.  The Anomalisa looks fantastic.  Both are R's but I think it might be the kind of R's that I can handle.  Whisky Tango Foxtrot looks good as well.  Hopefully I'm not wrong on these.

WFT is R for language and nudity.

R (for pervasive language, some sexual content, drug use and violent war images)  This is what it said, I really hope it's not a constant barrage of the F word.

The parents guide says the language is nonstop, and includes the horrible c word.

Well I went but didn't know it was gonna use those words...guess you can call me even more desensitized.  Too bad because there were some touching moments, dang it.

I hate when they ruin good movies with senseless language.

Sitting in the AMC waiting to see Allegiant. I don't have high hopes but we'll see.

I'm super annoyed they are splitting the last Divergent book into two movies. I read the book and it definitely does not need four hours to cover.

Definitely one star.  It wasn't that it was bad, but that it was pretty boring and really predictable.  At this point, the most interesting and fun character in the movie is a weasel that we are supposed to hate but he's way too likable and funny.  Meanwhile, Tris and Four just keep getting more annoying, to the point that you start to not care if they live or die.

All these young adult novel movies are the same. Dystopian futures with teenagers upsetting the established order with love triangles.

Hello Tacenda...

I've found if a review or description says "pervasive language" it means it!  And no matter how good the movie or how much I want to see it, I have to let it go... I agree with bluebell that it is a real shame when a good movie is ruined by the ridiculous use of profanity and/or sex...

Saw Allegiant. Can't believe we have to wait for another movie to see the conclusion. I enjoyed it and thought it interesting and 4 is really looking hot (I may be old but I can still appreciate good looks).

I used to think he was good looking but then I saw him in Downton Abbey (where I thought he looked stupid) and now I just think he looks kind of odd.

It really is dumb that they split the last book into two movies. I read something yesterday that said they might not even make the last movie because this installment is doing so lousy.

So there is a certain movie that is coming out this weekend for which I already have tickets and have been looking forward to for a while.  But the critical reception has not been good. Now I'm trying to decide if I should still see the movie or get a refund.  Should I let the critics disuade me or should I see the movie and judge it for myself?

How much leisure time do you have and spare money to devote to it?

The tickets came from a gift card and time isn't an issue either.

I'd go.  There are a lot of times when i don't agree with the critics.  Have you checked the movie go-er reviews?  Those often differ from the critics as well.

There's a remake of Ben-Hur coming out in like August. Morgan Freeman is in it. I'm very interested.

But Ben-Hur is an untouchable classic! It can't be remade!
