My ancestors obeyed his orders to go and pioneer this or that area, building dams, and other infrastructure. He was truly the American Moses. 4

If, by the above remark, you are alluding to Doctrine and Covenants 137, bear in mind that must of necessity have been a vision of the future. We know this, because Joseph speaks of seeing his father and mother among those in the celestial kingdom, and his mother had not yet died when the vision was received.

It is myopic indeed to fuss over the extent of the Church’s financial reserves.

I agree with that, and hence, I appreciate the line in our hymn “Praisd to the Man,” which states of Joseph, “Mingling with Gods, he can plan for his brethren.”

strappinglad Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 Moroni was a resurrected being .He had to have been resurrected at a minimum 400 years after Christ and all those who arose at the time of Christ. As pure speculation , it wouldn't surprise me if JS and others were already in that state. I suppose it would depend on what form would best fit his current service. Yes , I know where his grave is and it doesn't seem to have been disturbed, still... 2
