Sam Young is Excommunicated

Speaking of Sam Young, I got an email from him or his group thanking me for submitting my story to his website. The thing of it is I didn't and so I don't know how they got my contact info or what? Curiouser and curiouser!

I would seriously look into that.

Did he say anything besides "thank you"?  My understanding is there is no vetting when submitting a story, so someone could have used your email when submitting either as a prank or as an easy way to submit multiple stories (whether to crank up the number or to be able to discredit the site or just to see if they could).

I had no idea of the extent of one person's dislike for me until I Iearned that the person had submitted my contact information to an MLM recruiter.

He or they said "thank you for taking the time to write out your story and submit it to Protect LDS Children's website....i'm writing today to give you a head's up and ask your permission"

Basically wanting my story to be included in a book.

Except I don't know what he's talking about! I never submitted anything to him or his organization.

Seems to link to some other unrelated story.

If you listen to the short promo on that page you will see that it is indeed the correct story.

I thought the same thing when I first followed the link.

Good question

Inviting people who already have an axe to grind in relation to the Church to anonymously submit their worst narratives seems little removed from those short story writing competitions that show up in the back pages of certain magazines.

Maybe you and Gray are aware, but it seems to be a promo for an upcoming podcast on Nov. 2nd.

I think everyone is welcome to believe that the stories are false and that no problem exists.

Thank you for your assurance. :good:

By the way, do you believe that all the stories are true? Including the one that Mr Young highlighted on the eve of his disciplinary council that discusses ritualistic cannibalism?

If not, what criterion/a do you use to determine which are and which aren't?

Ritual cannibalism?

Thank you. I will. I don't think the sky is falling. I don't think a boogeyman is under my bed nor in my closet. I don't believe there is a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow. I don't think President Abraham and President Kennedy were manipulated by some unseen force to be victims of assassination. Most importantly, any problems that exist are exceptions to the rule rather than the norm. I invite you to come in from fantasy land, stand on firm ground, and look with clear eyes on the reality. Don't feel pressured to continue to follow the herd; it is okay to stand with your hand firmly on the iron rod.

Yes, that was after the chapter on Satanic rituals where small children were eaten at Bishopric meetings and just before the one on forcing primary children to jump from the Salt Lake temple into the Great Salt Lake if they did not submit to their bishop's invasive questions - "Did you use a bottle as an infant? Did you hug your father before getting into bed, etc?

Is there something leading you to believe that I am in "fantasy land", not on firm ground, and not looking with clear eyes on reality?

Yep, as part of making a 'snuff film' directed by a stake president or a bishop or some other member of the LDS sex ring that completely controlled where this family lived and even pimped this young woman out of the bishop's office. On the eve of his disciplinary council, Mr Young picked this narrative to share and said he was willing to lose his membership to stop such things happening since obviously the apostles don't care. Because, clearly, the very best way to stop Church leaders from running clandestine sex rings filled with killing and eating children is to stop bishopric interviews.

If false, that's a terrible thing to post to his blog.

But if true, it's horrific.

Mr Young accepts it as true, presents it as emblematic of what he's up against, and says that it's worth losing his membership over.

I suspect I may not be alone in having reached slightly different conclusions.

Why is anyone taking this guy seriously anymore?
