I had my first ever Egg McMuffin last month.

I had my last Egg McNuffin last month.

Which is funny, when you consider that an Egg McMuffin is made of an English muffin, a real poached egg, a slice of back bacon and a slice of processed cheese.

Of everything on McDonald's menu it's probably the sandwich that has the most "real" ingredients instead of processed crap.

The only thing I like at McD's is the French Fries and only those if they are hot.

A close relative works in a large potato factory that makes fries for a variety of major fast food chains. The potatoes are all the same, they just adjust the cutters and the recipe. There are specific quality requirements for each type. McD's fries have the highest requirements I believe.

Had Dairy Queen burger today.  One of the most underrated fast food burgers.

I think both Burger King and McDonald's are rather disgusting, but if I had to eat at one I would choose McD.  Simply because they sponsor the Ronald McDonald Houses.

I like both a big Mac and Whopper though I order the Big Mac without the middle bun and cheese and have only pickles and ketchup on the Whopper. I don't like McDonald's fries though. I have never been able to figure out why people like them.

I actually prefer BK to McD.... except for the fries... I too think McD has better fries.  I tend to side with Traela though... but not quite as critical as pronouncing them "disgusting."  Close... but okay for a quick lunch...

There's definitely something in McDonald's burgers that makes one addicted, maybe it's the cheese.

The only reason I will ever choose McD is if my family is voting we go there and it is not on the way home where I can get some other choices or if I get my once a decade or more craving for the cheapy hamburgers because it used to be the highlight of the month in junior high (fundraising had McD's hamburgers, potato chips and orange drink lunches once a month...I guess the vegetable was the pickle and ketchup).  Don't think they would be able to get away with that now.

I work for Panera Bread part time.  I was stunned to learn that McD actually coat their fries with sugar.   That enables them to brown faster when fried.  This might explain why it taste different, the interiors of fries are under cooked potatoes.  You have very good instincts if you suspect McD's fries.

They may be brown enough though not cooked enough.

There is way too much sugar in foods.   They even add sugar to toothpaste!   The manufacturers add sugar where they should not.  OJ has natural sugars that can be healthy but they insist on pumping a huge amount of refined sugar (unhealthy) into the bottles.

I can never get enough Hot n' Spicy McChickens.  I also really like the new build-your-own-burger thing that McDonalds.  They acually make decent tasting hamburgers with those.  The fries at McDonalds are also delicious. Burger King's fries have always been too salty for my taste.

I have two young sons, so occasional trips to McDonald's are unavoidable, though if I have to choose, I'd go with Wendy's, Burger King or Carl's Jr. before Mcdonald's or Jack in the Box.

Luckily, I live in Southern California, and there is an In and Out Burger about a mile from my house....the best drive-through burger and dries on the planet.

In SoCal, we also have a chain burger joints called "The Habit", which has the best restaurant burgers I have ever eaten, even better than In and Out in my opinion (but no drive-through). I see they also have locations in Utah, Arizona, etc. If you haven't tried a Charburger from The Habit, then you are truly missing out (they also have awesome onion rings)!

Haven't been to th BK lounge in decades. I won't even call it food. The guys at work go there a lot.

McDs is for emergencies only.  Such as, driving for 5 hours straight without eating and there isn't anything else around for 100 or more miles, kind of emergency.
