Can you imagine the media explosion if Bill were to suddenly reverse his views on religion and joined the highest quorum in the Church?

About the same as Paul's(Saul's) former associates who were not overly impressed. 1

Rather I think it would be someone who is Christian and has been very vocal against the church. Perhaps a leader in one of the evangelical churches. 2

He wouldn't have to change his vocal style much to fit in. Then again , maybe we could use an uptick in rhetorical flourish and call on the Rev Al. Richard Dawkins ? Bill Maher is utterly ignorant of religion, and is a potty mouth besides. 1

Don't forget, there was a length of time between Paul's conversion in Acts 9:19 and his calling as Apostle in Acts 13:2-3. Bill Maher would have to convert first. To think of it, quite a few BoM characters had the propensity of flopping down on the ground.

Paul was a Pharisee, but he soon learned to be very un_pharisee-like. I'm afraid we're probably even closer to the Pharisees, than most leaders of evangelicalism.

Of course, I know what anti-mormons see and why they think that, but as a church and people we aren't even close to being Pharisees in relation to the actual facts and truth.When was the last time a mormon walked by a man beaten on the road?When was the last time Mormon leaders tried to destroy other religions?When was the last time we had money changers in the Temple?When was the last time we put "rules" over loving people, etc.?I could go on.
