None. There are a thousand debates between creationists and scientists. Those with Kirk Cameron come to mind. In ever case the creationist comes off, in my opinion, as an idiot but the believers feel otherwise. Here is an example:

Can't speak for the EV's, but I personally don't know a single LDS who believes that the earth is 6000 years old.

had to look them up on line, I grew up watching Mr. Dressup, the Beachcombers, the Friendly Giant and the Wuzzles and fun TV shows like that, wasn't watching science crap on TV! :rofl:

You definitely didn't grow up in the United States.  Bill Nye and his videos are shown to elementary school aged children, probably in every state I'm thinking, at least in Utah they are!  Now for the guy Ken Ham, never heard of him either!     

 

 

And they chant/sing this whenever it's played....Bill Nye the Science Guy....

 

Oops, need to mention that Bill Nye was on "Dancing with the Stars" this past year, do you get that show?  He didn't last very long on the show, not a pretty sight.  But still like the guy.   :)

Bill Nye, The Science Guy? You never heard of him?  He's uh well the science guy on PBS, but if you are in Canada, then I don't know.  He is entertaining enough but I sort of figured that he was an anti.

He's not anti Mormon that I know of.  He is the Science Guy.  So that is probably why he's atheist, but then again, there is another science guy.....Elder Henry B. Eyring.  :)

Science professionals get under a lot of peer pressure to be atheists. And, in the work place it is best to keep religious affiliations shtem. When they are paying you $33/hour they could care less about your church attendance.

I tend to believe that eventually evolutionary theory will fail as more evidence is showing the trend to believe in intelligent design. This debate will be interesting, don't care who wins or whatever there. No Christian will lose faith over this debate.

Well, I only know about "Bill Nye the Science Guy" videos being shown in schools because I sub teach. So not very young, but young enough not to remember Mr. Wizard.:) How about Captain Kangaroo or Miss Julie on Romper Room (Utah only), to name a couple? Will that give you an idea how young/old I am? Since Creationists don't have a leg to stand on, maybe a few thinking, non-Mormon "christians" will lose faith, but so few of them understand the issues that they may not know that they've been trounced.

 

For the LDS Christian this poses no problem since they and Richard Dawkins pretty much agree on the fundamentals:

--a natural universe, with natural gods, and natural law

 

After all, Richard Dawkins has no problem with naturalistic, god-like creatures:
