Jesus did suffer completely for that reprobate. Including Lucifer and his angles. I don't think that your point does still hold. But I, like you, see only through a glass, darkly. So we disagree but only on an obscure point. I shan't fuss over it. But you remind me of something I heard asserted on a YouTube video about how Jesus's atonement covered not only the sins we committed in mortality, but that it retroactively reaches back to what we might have done wrong in the pre-existence as well. And adds another layer to the disciples' question to Jesus about the man born blind, whether his blindness was caused by sin he committed before he was born. We usually use that passage as a proof-text for the pre-existence, but it seems it could also work for forgiveness of sins committed in premortal life.

Agree. My thoughts are that "AT POINT ZERO" before God sets out to start a new generation of the Plan of Happiness, He approaches the "Council of the Gods" to be given leave to recruit that vast cohort of intelligences. In order to begin the implementation of the Plan, They must verify ("looking into the future") that a "Lamb of God" is provided as a sacrifice to make everything possible. Including all the contentions in the pre-existence, acquisition of matter "unorganized", setting up a "Garden of Eden" primed for the Fall, all the natural disasters and grief, and the deliberate rebellions and perversions and agonies. The Resurrection is the gift made possible by the Atonement. This is the "price" the Father and His Lamb of God were willing to pay (IN FULL) to make ALL the experiences possible. So even if reprobates don't appreciate that price, it was necessary to bring about the next Eternal Round.
