"All black men are potential rapists." I denounce all of these categorical denigrations because they are per se prejudiced. My own thoughts on this, are as a Catholic, rather than because of being a Catholic. I believe all life to be blessed from conception to death. I was raised with the belief, that abortion being allowed in certain cases, such as rape, incest and the life of mother being at risk. That is the verbal teaching I was given from childhood and through to adulthood, felt this to be appropriate. And in my own reasoning would fit in with, and run parallel with the Aquinas 'Just War Theory'. Before people start posting there is a difference, yes I know. My own argument on the matter, people can not say a complete no to abortion, and on the other hand say there are excuses for war. If I have upset or offended anybody with my post. Apologies in advance.

There are many attributes, that I would like to have had in this life. If there is anything that I would like to have in the next, it would be to be generally more artistic. At school, I enjoyed drawing, and painting, and also making things. Although, not very good at any of it, I enjoyed having a try. In recent years, I have turned my hand to gardening. Before her death, my mother used to take care of the garden at home. Only a small garden at the front and rear. In recent years, I have managed to keep it in reasonable condition, but lack artistic touch, to make the garden look great. So, for myself. It would be an artistic attribute.

As for myself, a male, I am naturally cautious when meeting people, as to what 'They are about' so to speak. I suppose it is a matter of trust. This could be, in a way, for a number of general reasons. As for a woman, I just feel, and I may presume wrong on this, there maybe more inappropriate interactions towards her. Or, the possibility of threat towards her.

I think, maybe it is a matter, that a woman may have to be on the defensive, until she can lower her guard when feeling a bit more comfortable, or confident.

I forgot about Deep Space, until you reminded me. Very good show, I managed to watch reruns of Star Trek; Voyager, I enjoyed that. Never got to see it first time around.

Over the last couple of years. I have managed to catch up on the Star Trek movies, original cast/next generation/modern revamp. For myself, I still prefer the movies with the original cast.

In my previous job, security. It was mainly an all male environment. Over time women were being employed in the specific role where I worked. As a result of the number of males already in the role it fell on the male security staff, initially, to train the new female guard. The new female member was placed with an experienced male member of staff who was deemed sensible and reliable. As one of the male members of staff tasked with training the new female staff. Looking back, I realised any were a two way matter. Also, I realised, the female had the greater concern over anything with the potential to happen, assault or rape. Especially as the job involved working night shifts, and at times being in darl secluded areas for some time However, I must have been doing something right. As on a number of occasions, a couple of female members of staff asked to work alongside me. After reading through this topic, and considering my workplace environment. I have realised, that at general level. There is a genuine concern for a male to be wrongly accused. There is a greater concern for the female regards to rape and assault.

I have found, from a personal perspective. God, helps/aids/assists, in ways that people may not have expected, or in some cases preferred. The end result of God's interaction with people at specific times of need can be deemed a blessing, even if it is not, at times understood.

The peace and calm that I feel from the presence of God, is more of a spiritual inner feeling. Rather than a general peace of calm, that I would feel from a walk in the woods or hike up a mountain.

Loving God as our heavenly Father, and trusting that he will at some point do what is right, for us his earthly children. I do not believe to be lop sided.

A specific sense of peace and calm.

Maybe this would require unconditional love and trust in God.

I have felt God's presence in my own life. Sometimes when I have prayed for something. At times, when I have not asked directly. Sometimes I am guided without realising, until after some time do I realise of a presence of God's love in a personal action. In my own thoughts process, it is a parent and child process. The parent providing a home, clothing, food and all what is necessary. And the child trusting that they will be cared for in a loving environment. I feel that it is a parent/child situation between God and ourselves.

I feel your summary is the correct line to take. The female was placed in a situation by her "friend". And she was in no position to agree with intercourse with with anybody, let alone a large number. Also, potentially, in no position to defend herself.

As a Catholic myself, and based upon my own knowledge of Catholic history. A grimoire/spell book, has never been used in official/sanctioned matters. In the early days of the Church, long before the communications and media we have now. As the Church was establishing itself, the people's from different cultures, may have had access to materials such has a grimoire, in my opinion. Over time this would have been discouraged, as the the early church was building it's own, Christian rites and rituals.

There are always some people, who for whatever reason. That get carried away at finger pointing at other people who do not follow, or share their view or angle. If you are comfortable on the road you are taking, and the direction you are going. Stick to it, unless 'you' feel called to take an alternative road.

I think it is so easy for a woman who has been raped, to be told she was wearing specific type of clothing, was behaving inappropriate, or in the wrong area/ environment. Adults, within their own reasoning, know what is right and wrong. So when a man, or group of men force themselves on a women. They will know what they are doing is wrong.
