General Conference Predictions

Great news about the Victoria BC temple, the saints have a very long and costly trip to get to the temple in Langley. Of course, there are only two stakes on Vancouver Island so I imagine it would be rather small. .

 

I found it interesting that the conferences were conducted by members of the quorum of the 12, likely because the president and his #1 are unable due to age.

Tacoma was announced some time ago but still a designated spot is TBD.

2022 and still waiting?  Almost as bad as Russia, and it's 2018 announcement.

Sorry, not trying to be snarky or make any sort of point.  I've caught the Temple Announcements data analysis bug, and I've discovered a surprising amount of energy on the topic.

We were in Edinburgh just last week. We hiked Arthur's Seat even, where Orson Pratt dedicated Scotland for the preaching of the Gospel. Between that and the Victoria, BC temple (I was born in the Okanagan) this was extra special.

But it did force EVERYBODY to wear masks.  Thus preventing the hearing-impaired people from being able to lip-read.  Even with captioning turned on, it is still NOT quite a 100%.

Which I do rely on. Please read my third sentence. It can be very disconcerting when the captioning goes off pace or it has glitches or even stops working every so often.
