Tacenda Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Papa, so sorry you're going through this. Is it because of pain that you fell? Or what caused it? I know you broke your back a few years back. So could it be scar tissue? Sorry I'm being so nosy, just wondering what could help.
Jeanne Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Wow...I hope that this is a temporary set back...not understanding everything...but know that I will pray and think of you...hugs to you my friend!! 1

But this happened when I woke up in the middle of the night, to go to the bathroom, and my leg was just dead, I could feel nothing. Two days ago I woke up and on the way around my bed, I passed out and hit the floor so hard, I thought I broke my neck, and cut my head really bad. So, I am not sure what is happening, going to see my doctor next week. 1

My wife is getting me a walker tomorrow, I can't afford to keep falling. There are many items in my home (in all homes) that have very sharpe edges. So, some falls could be "lights out", for good. My wife and kids tell me that they still need me, so I need to figure all of this out quickly. 3
Avatar4321 Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 I'm saying a prayer for you. Fast if you need to. The Lord will help you. 1
jkwilliams Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Please see a doctor. Hoping and praying for the best outcome for you. 1
Meerkat Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Any word today Papa? Did you have a stroke? Are you paralized? Your wife and kids still need you. We need to hear from you too! 2

I can feel my right leg enough to feel it under me, the trouble I have with my diabetes, I can feel little or nothing in my feet. This makes maintaining my balance nearly impossible. Seeing my doctor on Monday.

Seeing my doctor on Monday. Glad to hear you know what the issues are. Sometimes this getting older is no fun. "Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." I'm at an age where I wake up feeling like I'm 18 and can conquer the world that day. Then noon rolls around and my body reminds me that it's time to slow down, maybe get ready for a nap in an hour or two. You know what I'm talking about, right? I look forward to you being on the mend. You're still in my prayers. 2
