Worlds Without Number...

I took a Descriptive Astronomy class at BYU—back when dinosaurs stilled ruled the world.  This video reminds why I enjoyed the class so much.  Emerging from that lecture in the Eyring Science Building, always felt similar to emerging from a session in the Temple.

I remember when the Hubble launched into space.  Makes me feel in awe of our creator.  He created this universe that holds all of these billions of stars/planets, it makes me wonder how many are like our earth with people.  Are we the only ones?  Well that's a dumb question if you believe in becoming Gods and having your own world.  But to the non member it is probably a question.  And I can see how this knowledge can prove that we may one day create spirits to inhabit these planets.  Or it causes one to wonder about UFO's and their existence. 

 

Now we have people that are soon going to travel to Mars.  Makes you wonder what it'll be like in another 50 yrs.  Come to think of it, does it mean that our God is only of this world and He has another God above Him?  Is our God Jesus?  And other planets may have a different God over them?  I'm such a nitwit, lame question and probably our LDS doctrine all along.  I wonder who created the universe, how did it all begin?  As a child I would wonder if it didn't exist, no universe, nothing...what would be there?  Try to get you head around that, it's impossible.
