I added an apple to my signature to demonstrate. It’s so tiny because I made the print tiny to fit everything into a small space so it’s not annoyingly taking up half the screen.  

If you don’t see signatures, that means you have the hide signatures options set in your account settings.  If you want to see or not see signatures or add or change the signature itself and you have forgotten how or never knew how, go into your account settings (click on the same thing that takes you to your profile) and click on the bottom option in the menu (it is obviously labeled “signature”).  Once you get there, it’s pretty obvious what you need to do, so won’t add more instructions.

Someone needs to let me know if my small print signature can even be read decently.  I can if I get close to the screen, lol.

That is such a good idea. But i don't know how to do that. If everything is red i don't see the red downvotes that much anymore. So that can have a positive effect.

That's also the problem with those downvotes you know. The brightly colored red just draws everyone's attention. Especially for the person in question who receives the downvote.

Yep, I added instructions on how to with some options for red….he could have multiple colors too.  

I have signatures turned off too.  Iirc there used to be a poster or posters whose signature was quite long so when I was on my phone it took up a lot of the screen.  Plus my own can take up a chunk if normal size print.  I tried to make it unobtrusive. I wanted to have it as I refer so often to that quote, but I am thinking I may delete it given I almost always quote it anyway because I know so many can’t see the signatures.

I wonder what the default is, viewing signatures (what I am guessing) or not viewing them.

If i put a person on ignore i don't see their posts anymore. Does that also count for their downvotes as well?

PS to those finding my signature annoying…I do intend to tidy it up after Dario decides what he wants to do.

Dont give up on being on limited yet.  I reported some posts for being political and the thread is still unlocked and no one’s been thread banned as far as I can tell, so I think Nemesis probably hasn’t been around yet….or he’s in a forgiving mood, lol.

Yeah. And i have forgotten my password because i always have my account online. So i can't log in into my computer. I have asked nemesis about it but never received an answer.

But what about you? How do you manage all the rules of the LDS community? Do you find it hard? Or do you manage it quite well. Are you consistent in wearing your garment every day. Or do you not always wanna wear that thing? Let me know. Oh if somebody want to throw some scriptures in this topic that would be magnificent as well. Since i moved back to the Netherlands i have lost my Book of Mormon. So unfortunately i can't read any of that good stuf anymore. Unless i look it up on the internet. 

One idea on how one gets more "good stuff" is to read the church website- I still use "lds.org" to enter it- but there are other ways also!

I find that it covers every question I can come up with.

Also set up an account - you will need your member number, which you can get from your bishop or ward clerk if you do not have it- then you can access more info than is available on the regular site.  It's not different- just more detailed.

There's a lifetime there of "good stuff"!

Hey Dario, just getting rid of some of your red lol. I have sons that are your age. I'm sorry life is so much struggle for you. I'm not sure that the church is the healthiest place for a young gay man, but if it provides you with the support you need then more power to it. The world is better for your presense in it and I hope that with the pain (some of which you have earned - through cheating, and some of which this hateful world has unfairly heaped upon you), you learn to grow stronger.

I do too, lol.  Not all the time as I keep hoping I will train google to recognize the longer version to speed my searches up, but it never does unless I just visited the website.   On the other hand, I type in con and consumerlab pops up instantly.  Can’t figure out why it is so picky with the Church’s address.

Yeah. I know that i'm not the only one though. And that there are people who have it even worse. But i just....complain a lot lately about my situation. Maybe a bit to much. But i really struggle. For to long now.

Maybe if i lived in Utah the church would have been a worse place for me because of the strict rules. But here it's not such i big problem. So i may call myself lucky.

Just the smell when they are cooked bothers me. Once I was eating pizza and the table next to me had their pizza covered in green peppers. It smelled so bad I couldn't eat my own.

Here is what it looks like in the signature.  I am going to edit it out now as unnecessary, but thought I would just show you to maybe encourage you to work on getting a new password so you can use your computer.  The other option would be to sign in with a new account.  As long as you are not hiding who you are or using the second identity as a way to get around a ban, it shouldn’t be a problem.  You do lose all your posts and rep points though,

You could also see if you could write in such a way as to get less downvotes (such as reread posts a few times and ask for clarification if you get a negative reaction and want to criticize to be sure first you aren’t misunderstanding what they are saying…which does seem to happen quite a bit though can’t be sure; give out less downvotes yourself as people seem to feel more comfortable giving downvotes to others who give downvotes from what I see; maybe reconsider whether it really matters if you feel the impulse to criticize or not and other things).  Perhaps being able just say what you feel like saying is more important to you than not getting upset with a comment, but if so, understand that when you make that choice, you will get the consequences of disagreement. 

I am going to test if I can find my own password (I have a password book because I get nervous about what if my phone busts) on whether or not the site will allow you to reset your password somehow if you have access to the email address you have, but will do that later.

This is key. I know in advance which of my posts will receive downvotes. Sometimes they are preachy like the posts that Dario downvoted in the other thread. Sometimes I’m just being a jerk, ‘cause I feel like I need to vent. And sometimes I’m just sharing what I know to be a strongly worded controversial opinion. Can’t please everyone and say what I want to say 🤷‍♂️.

True and i also had given some downvotes to other people as well. So i'm also guilty of doing that.

Yeah i see that now. My comments where not the only problem though. It was also my topics that people didn't really liked.
