Nocturnal calling and election, a theological puzzle

Last night I dreamed a dream or in other words I had a vision except I am not sure of that. It might also just have been a regular dream.

Anyways in the dream I was in bed praying and suddenly I felt a sudden jolt and the covers flews over my head and my whole body seized up. It wasn't unpleasant but it was surprising. Then a bright light came into the room so that it hurt my eyes even through the blanket (and I have a thick weighted blanket). Then I felt heavenly beings all around me and a voice came into my head saying my calling and election is now sure. Then it all vanished.

Then I was sent back in time and had to conduct a commando mission with my brother, father, and grandmother except they weren't my actual father or grandmother. It had something to do with making sure someone lived. Anyways I got stuck on the ladder because "grandma" was climbing too slow.

Then I woke up and saw it was 2:30 AM and realized I had only been asleep for about five minutes and went back to sleep.

 

So my question is whether that is legally binding at the Last Day. While I am not sure it was sent by heaven I am also not sure it was not. Since God knows all things he knew it was going to happen and didn't stop it so unless he says otherwise I am legally okay with assuming it was God's decision on the basis that God can communicate that it was fake at any time. So wouldn't his unwillingness to correct the misconception by default means it is accepted? Any lawyers want to weight in on this question?

Also I had a larger than usual helping of Blue Bell ice cream before I went to bed last night. It was the vanilla kind with peaches in it if that is relevant.

In all seriousness, I'm not sure what to say about the validity of the dream...vision...thing. Just keep on keeping on and doing the right thing, I guess.

Sounds like a dream to me, but that doesn't mean it wasn't inspired or not meant to teach you anything (and it also doesn't mean the opposite I guess).  Have you been worry about being saved lately, or feeling like it was something completely out of your control?  Kind of a 'set up to fail' situation that you are worried about but also believe God could fix it?

I don’t worry about it much. I don’t anticipate being exalted but I don’t worry about it much either.

I think you mean start doing the right thing. I am useful to God but I am not particularly good. More a particularly uncool and boring antihero type.

I have decided to perform a scientific experiment. I am going to go eat even more ice cream and see if it cause me to be transfigured or translated or something or causes a full on theophany. Not sure how else you exceed a calling and election event. Will report in the morning or possibly the afternoon if I decide to sleep in.

You wouldn't be having these kind of doubts if you had stuck with the Cookie Two Step instead.

I had that several weeks ago and can confirm dreams were not of this nature.

My experiment with more ice cream did not produce more sacred experiences. Instead I was stuck in a really bad Avengers movie. It was like living in a cheap Turkish knockoff of the franchise.

Have you ever tried to find out what your dreams mean? I have a reoccurring dream that I'm trying to find a toilet to go potty and they are being used or there's not a private stall and out in the open and frantically trying to find one that I'm not being exposed.
