No matter what's on his podcast they are from Bill's point of view from his reality. If I were to view them and argue them they would be from my point of view and my reality to me it's a pointless waste of time.

Setting aside his POV and opinion, you have made a claim about Reel’s statements being in error and yet you have not shown such.  CFR on what Bill Reel has said that is in error (referring to the facts that he has presented in social media posts or on his podcast, not statements of opinion).

I modified my statement just so I don't have to listen to a podcast. That's still my opinion it's just his opinion I don't have to modify my opinion. If Bill has something important to say perhaps he could write it down

@Tacenda gave you a link to Reel’s Wheat and Tares posts.  Here’s a link to his Facebook posts:  https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1307236400

So he has written down what he feels is important to say.  He has shared his opinion and has documented the facts upon which he bases his opinions.

You have only shared your opinion and have not bothered to dispute any of the facts that he has presented.

So how can you disagree with his conclusions when you haven’t listened to or read his words?

Easy:  podcasters are wrong just because they are podcasters. :)

Yet no one - NO ONE has been able to show @DBMormon that what he is sharing is not true.

you can say that with a straight face? You're saying he has never been proven wrong? is that what you are saying? with a straight face, today, right now, DBmormon is 100% right about every statement he makes, on here, on FB, his podcasts, everything. The guy who claims to know 99% more than everyone else in the Church, read all of"talmadge" all of McConkie, JFS, all of the "Motivational guys", he'x explored every "nook and cranny" of Mormonism. If you legit believe that then good luck to you

I’m open to being wrong. Show me where he is wrong or unfactual, and I will eat my words.

July 11 ,  “I have personally studied every nook and cranny of Mormonism. I find Mormonism as interesting as any religion. It has taken me 20 years of serious thinking and reading to get to a place where I deeply understand my religious tribe inside and out. “ I am just a layman” FB post

Jul 2 someone asks him a question

” Bill, Have you spent as much time reading positive information as you do critical information on the issues surrounding the truth claims of Mormonism?”

His answer “ I need you to not only hear my answer but feel it? I have read the Book of Mormon over a dozen times all the way through and have read from its pages thousands and thousands of times. I have read the new testament and old testament deeply as well. I had read and thought about the teachings on those pages so deeply and was one who pondered the scriptures continuously. I read all the correlated materials. manuals, periodicals, LDS.org. I read and studied the institute manuals. I read "Our Heritage and "truth restored", all of talmadge,[sic] Mcconkie, JFS, I read everything. I read the motivational guys like Wilcox, Millet, and so many others. Have you seen my LDS library. No doubt what so ever, I have read more faithful material than 99.9% of members as well as critical material in order to understand both sides. Are there folks who have read more. Sure but not many.”…. Let me know if you want another issue to study out. But trust me, not one facet of our story is the way the church taught it. But don't take my word for it." FB post

Still not seeing what is unfactual here.

I can see the hyperbole in his statement about studying “every nook and cranny of Mormonism.”  That’s tough to measure.

What has he taught that is untrue?  Or do you just not like his attitude that comes across with some hubris?

Let me make the connection for you, he has all these questions and yet he claims to know more than 99% of everyone in the Church and studied every "nook and cranny" if any of that is true then why can't he answer his own questions? which part is lying about? he knows more than 99% of everyone or the lack of answers nonsense?

Maybe because he isn’t getting answers despite his studying intently and asking all the leaders who have given him any opportunity to ask is a signal to him that this faith and it’s leaders aren’t as water tight or as authentic as they claim to be.

so you would go with his lying about his lack of answers, despite his vast knowledge in order to answer said questions, okay

This grammatically makes no sense to me. I don’t speak Canadian.  Please use better grammar if you’d like me to understand your questions.

you're right I should have said, "is he lying about"

and while the subject is broached you said, "and it’s leaders " when you should have said, "and its leaders" , in the South do they say "it is leaders"? American education tsk tsk tsk

If you read his questions, I think it will clarify things:  https://mormondiscussionpodcast.org/2018/11/24-questions-my-stake-president-admitted-he-could-not-reconcile/

I did read his questions, why can't he answer them if he knows everything? why waste time asking questions that he knows the answers to? He put up speculations about general conference, which I questioned him about. Why person who knows everything speculate?

As I used to teach my first-year history students during their very first week at university, no facts speak for themselves. Everything we say is interpretation. This whole 'I can't be wrong because all I've done is repeat facts' nonsense is risible, though it has certainly become a meme in the ex- and soon-to-be ex-Latter-day Saint community.

The questions he has are about the published materials.
