For the first time in many years, I was assigned to be present for the Saturday morning session rather than the priesthood session. Popular Post Scott Lloyd Posted March 31, 2018 Author Popular Post Posted March 31, 2018 Ten years ago, when President Uchtdorf conducted the solemn assembly, he had to firmly remind the congregation that only those who were standing at the respective time should vote. This time, no one I saw committed the faux pas of voting out of turn — with the exception of one sweet little girl who raised her hand while the First Presidency were voting. Her mother quietly corrected her. And blessedly, there were no shouted votes of opposition in the Conference Center at any time to mar the sacredness and reverence of the occasion. 8

When the time came to sustain I pulled over to do so. the outpouring of the Spirit was overwhelming. I knew it before but now I can say without a doubt that President Russell M Nelson is a Prophet of God. im going to follow President Ballard’s direction and record this in my journal 7

Her mother quietly corrected her. It seems to have helped that President Eyring mentioned three different times to not stand and vote if your group wasn't being called upon to do so. 1

I was sitting next to my son who was chatting with someone and they were having a tiff so we had to calm them down and it worked out so I missed being emotional 1

You mean except for the one apostle on the left side, who put his hand up to vote with the first presidency the second thing or third thing that was voted on and quickly put it down again?
