Obviously she finds peace and fulfillment in participating in church. If that's true, then why shouldn't she participate? If participation makes her happy, that is what she should do. It may not be your cup of tea or mine, but it's hers.

I'm guessing the board management loves being able to milk it for more page views. That's probably why they have a "similar content" function.
