Romney talk from April 1981 Conference titled; "The Restoration of Israel to the Lands of Their Inheritance" Yet, no matter how I try and access the talk I get a "page not found" error.

I just tried the link again and it went right thru. Only took a couple seconds to bring it up and for the video to automatically start playing. If i manually go to lds.org and type the name of the talk into search (using quotation marks), it brings me to a page with this talk listed at the top. When i click on the talk, it takes me right to the talk itself, just like the link does. I wonder why it's working for some people and not for others? It's obviously a technical issue and has nothing to do with the church being afraid of controversial GC talks, but it's still annoying.

My phone is android, but I assume that my computer has not connection. I know there are a few sites (our school district page that allows you to pay fees) that I can't get into for whatever reason, but DH can get to them at work. Not a filter problem. Don't know if this is the same thing as the error on this thread or not.

I propose that anyone who runs into such a talk, write to the church magazines or the internet department, attach the talk and suggest that they may not want to propound it at lds.org any more (maybe a historical site), referring to the appropriate gospel topic or other current utterance of the lds church position.

To answer your question, yes, sometimes talks are removed from the website. But apparently they leave it in the table of contents.
