You commented that you thought this video was just about Lehi and his family so they wouldn’t include the bees and such, which it is . However, my reference about bees, of course, had nothing to do with this video but with the eventual book of Ether videos that will release but are in the same Book of Mormon Video series.

A decision was made and much of the filming has already taken place. I just hope they don’t trying to make any specific parts of the Book of Mormon, as big epic movies don’t do well, such as “The Bible”. I am happy they are going to proceed, but we (well three of us) have really taken and “off-ramp” to a road, it was not my intent to take any down. Maybe we should got back on the next, “on ramp”, to the main highway, before we get lost, debating and mistakenly begun debate.

My guess is not as confused as I am, you seem to keep trying for me to concede a point I have already done, which did not even need me to do so. This entire “series” is a wonderful idea, and looks like a topic that others what to discuss, not an real of perceived errors by myself, or any other. So, can we stop it now? Well, that is silly question, I am going to stop it now.

Your conception is all wrong. This is not an if-it-catches-on sort of thing. The plans are in place to do the entire Book of Mormon from start to finish. It will happen, without question. And, regardless of what you seem to think, this is not a commercial venture, any more than the Bible Videos series was a commercial venture. Edited September 23, 2019 by Scott Lloyd

The entire project is already greenlit. Sets built. They’re looking for season 3 actors already. 1

It was probably a striped coat with more colors than usual in it. The point of the Egyptian paintings is that was certainly consistent with the time of Joseph. A lot of Semites showed up in Egypt wearing multi-colored coats/robes of various designs. The Assyrians didn't have a lot of paint art which has survived - most was in stone relief, so we don't get a good idea of colors, but some of it is more time-appropriate to approximate clothing of Lehi's period. In those reliefs you can still see that Israelites still wore their hair in a mushroom cut. Most had beards. They still wore much the same clothing as was depicted of Semites in Egypt. If someone knows of an Assyrian painting of Israelites contemporaneous to Lehi's time, I would welcome it - I haven't looked terribly hard. So all in all we have a very good idea of what Lehi's clan would have looked like - not a whole lot like Donny, but ya know, that's Dollywood. My family still enjoyed Donny, although I liked Prince of Egypt more - it had awesome music... 1

However, it still will be great to see how the planned on bringing flocks in herds into their barges that were being tossed to and fro in this ocean. They were being flipped around in circles it seems since there was holes in the “roof” and “floor” so that no matter what they could access the air.

I recall reading a science fiction story about 60 years ago in which astronauts landed on a wonderfully green planet with rows and rows of carefully tended vegetation covering the whole planet, but no person present. Every possible type of vegetation, but not a soul present. They finally concluded that this was a kind of nursery for a god, from whence he took plants to his various planets. Could planets be mansions? I believe Joseph translated the word "mansion" to "kingdom", like when Jesus said that in our Father's house there are many mansions he was talking about how our Father has many kingdoms. According to D&C 76:111 every man will receive his own mansion according to his works, so I mostly try to imagine what I would like my mansion or kingdom to be like, rather than what our Father's is like. Who knows, we may have different tastes. 1

We'll just need a bigger place for larger family gatherings.

Apparently Venus was habitable once, so some atmospheric tampering should make it right as rain for family get always.

YouTube is much easier accessed on some networks (and less odd then trying to reference someone to a religious website). Plus they could be used as a proselyting tool for those who are unaware of the story of the Book of Mormon or have a hard time reading. They are obviously not intended to be some big epic movie, though I wish someone would use the framework for something as deep, epic, and spanning as a show like Game of Thrones (minus the inappropriate sexual content). 1
