Lucifer sincerely believes God is lying.  If God agreed with the sons of God, then the Utah lake would be North of the Great Salt Lake, and the geography would be reversed, I believe.  

It is clear that your beliefs do not align with LDS doctrines - but your or my beliefs have no bearing on what is true. The LDS WILL NOT abandon modern scripture, any of the D&C. Nor will it abandon the Pearl of Great Price or the Book of Mormon. In fact, scripture is far more likely to expand than contract. We/I believe in revelation, That as Christs's church here on earth, the prophets receive current revelation directing Christ's Church.  We have seen this occur in even more modern times, with the addition of The Proclamation on the Family and The Living Christ to our body of canon.

I also predict that the many things revealed by Joseph and Taught by Brigham, John, Wilford. et all will come more and more to the forefront  and will be canonized. These prophets revealed and taught of the true nature of God and His Son, who he is and how he became our Father. ... also how it is that the Son becomes a Father. ... and the future roles of the Holy Ghost. ... and how we become perfected just as Christ and The Father are.

So I care nothing of your beliefs, what I do care about is that you and all abandon the false teachings of men and devils mingled with scripture such that you may learn the truth nature of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost - and therefore, the true nature of yourself and your fellow man.

I'm not LDS but I've been around here long enough to know that these have not been canonized. The controversy is whether or not they are revelation, but they are certainly not canonized. No common consent sustaining vote, no inclusion in the scriptures. (Did I get the terminology right, LDS friends?)

But you are seriously arguing that Romans were coopting Sumerian deities into Christianity instead of, you know, their own deities/philosophies? That seems bit nuts. That is like claiming Allah is based on Odin.

There are specific things we are specifically told not to reveal. The rest of it we are not to reveal either except occasionally in the right environment in the right spirit at the right time and then only in generalities.
