One thing that is very important to keep in mind is the Islam isn't somehow some monolithic body. Beliefs vary widely. Most "Islamic" problems are actually Middle-Eastern or African problems and have no connection to the Quran (though sometimes they do to the hadith). Most Muslims aren't actually Arabs anymore. The largest populations of Muslims are in Indonesia, Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh, which are very different cultures than Iran or Saudi Arabia. Interpretations of sharia vary considerably, but for the vast majority of Muslims nowadays it doesn't have anything to do with civil government, but is more like our own church policies and commandments that apply to them personally or as Muslim communities.

The violence towards women is all the more reason for LDS men to become involved in the refugee work.   Men whose culture has not given much dignity to women need to see strong men treating women with respect and expecting them to be full participants in life and big dreams.   It is much harder for a community where anything goes to have the moral authority to question the cultural activities of others that are different, than it is for communities that are seeking to behave as God (however one calls Him) has modeled and counseled men to act.

Statistically though, there are more women than men refugees.

Last year Fox said Birmingham was a Muslim only city. I live near Birminggam and visit frequently. My brother lives in an area where, as a white person, he is in the minority. He feels completely safe and gets on well with his (Muslim) neighbours.

The irony is that your "hodgepodge" of sources don't even say what you want them to say. 

The reality that there are certain neighbourhoods in big cities that are only visited by police in large numbers (rather than alone) is not new news. There have been areas like this for decades and many of them have nothing to do with the residents being Muslims.

Have you read them all? In detail? The attacks are horrible, I agree. Those who have perpetrated the attacks on Jews should be punished under law.

You're still at risk of over-simplifying and generalising though. As the articles state, there are a range of people who are committing anti-semitic hate crimes. It talks about crimes being committed by Arabs, Neo-nazis and leftists. It mentions this is often more anti-Israel (due to Palestine) rather than anti-Jewish.

Some of the refugees threw themselves into the waters. Not all of them could swim. A German soldier collapsed in tears on the beach crying, "I didn't sign up for this."

Frankly, I could care less if the US takes in refugees. My responsibilty lies in supporting my government in making housing, jobs and education available for the refugees that come to my country. 

It does upset me, however, that some in the US accept false news with so little criticism.

But we need to question sources and their reliability. My point however is over what you stated in a previous post about crime and poverty. The number of rapes from the immigrant community does not support such a statement as you made. Much has to do with how islamists see women with western dress: naked yet clothed. Such was the statement for women's western dress codes in a new convert booklet for muslims from european converts.

I have provided many sources from RT to the jewish press about attacks against jews in sweden. I also know that such topics are taboo in sweden. I have many swedish students that have told me that it is almost impossible to have a conversation about it. And we do know how the swedish police attempted a cover up about what happened at the rock concert last summer when muslim men were sexually harrassing young women after the concert.

There are currently around 33,000 homeless veterans that the country is not taking care of or housing, yet the government wants to bring in refugees. Shouldn't the government focus on helping their own first? We have a lot of veterans who are seriously struggling and a homeless problem. Since moving to Utah I see people on the streets around Provo and Orem begging for money all the time. Never saw that in Massachusetts once in my life, and I see it all the time in Utah County.

Not really with the refugee flow into Europe.  I have been watching the stats off and on at http://data.unhcr.org/mediterranean/regional.php and the men always are the biggest group represented. At one point 70% of the refugees were men.  As of today, the current flow is said to be 45% men, 35% children, and 20% women.

Of course it is an exaggeration that all refugees are committing crimes.  However you seem to think that the news in the west is getting things wrong when in fact censorship in the European media does exist.  Those attacks in Germany on New Years eve was reported in many internet sources days before the Germany media and government finally admitted to it.  Both the police and media have covered up many things as not inflame the public on the situation but that just makes matters worse as the people then have no reason to trust the media or government for censorship.

correlation doesn't equal causation and several of the reasons mentioned depict legitimate causes that already have a high connection to rape, such as alcohol (which ironically would reduce the likelihood of it being refugee Muslim populations). It's also interesting that a lot of that growth happened in the last 15 years...well after the policy change.
