Historic Mormon Pioneer Jubilee Salt Lake City Utah Souvenir

Hi,

I came across an item on ebay that is very interesting to me. I've started to collect historic LDS items including purchasing my first leather bound 1850's Mormon bible about 3 months ago.  Would anyone have an idea of what type of value to place on this historic Mormon Souvenir from the Salt Lake Jubilee:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/131722018955?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

I've never seen this item before and am unsure as to what a value range would be?  Any help from someone that collects LDS items is appreciated!

Thanks!

John

Out of curiosity, do you mean a Bible comprising the Old and New Testaments?

I can't imagine they would be in abundance and it is in pretty good condition. I think if you knew who originally owned it then maybe that would add to the value, the story could sell. I just checked the listing and I think the current bid at 213 is a decent price for it, hopefully it'll go up as that is better for you but I'd say you are in the ballpark of what you could reasonably ask for it

Have you checked to see if there was such a medal sold or issued for that jubilee?   It's condition looks too good to me to be authentic.
