Am I correct or wrong here?I also wondered if there was a relation between teach, learning, and/or study.
RevTestament Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 The Word of Wisdom is one giant chiasmus.

Glenn101 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 So are you suggesting that the D&C is of ancient Hebraic origin? Well, the author of those revelations has been around a long time... 3
cinepro Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 So are you suggesting that the D&C is of ancient Hebraic origin? There's no other reasonable explanation. 4

Robert F. Smith Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 (edited) D&C 88:118 A And as all have not faith,B seek ye diligentlyC and teach one another words of wisdom;B' yea, seek ye out of the best booksC' words of wisdom; seek learning,B'' even by studyA' and also by faith. The parallels are not as chiastically balanced as it seems by only using selected words. In fact there are several ways in which various parallel arrangements could be presented, none of them very convincing as rhetorically balanced. Edited October 28, 2015 by Robert F. Smith
PeterPear Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 One Eternal Round 2 For God doth not walk in crooked paths, neither doth he turn to the right hand nor to the left, neither doth he vary from that which he hath said, therefore his paths are straight, and his course is one eternal round.
Buckeye Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Hey Bomgeography, the current tally of topics in this forum is 7,476. I'd estimate that a good 1,500 of those are locked. At the rate you're going, you should be able to add a comment to each of the 5,000 open topics by Christmas. Best of luck! 1

The Nehor Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 So are you suggesting that the D&C is of ancient Hebraic origin?God originally wrote it on Moses first set of tablets but they got smashed and God did not want to revise so He just phoned it in with a close translation into English. 1
The Nehor Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 That's pretty coolDo you know of anymoreWow, you were really desperate to get full posting privileges huh? Couldn't you have gone with something less blatant like posting longer inane comments or starting a flame war?
