JLHPROF Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) http://ldssmile.com/2014/09/24/kind-church-calling-fits/ Just a fun little quiz (similar to buzzfeed). Not sure about the accuracy - apparently I should be an Apostle: You are proactive, motivated and feel a massive desire to share the gospel with the world. You are definitely Apostle material and should start memorizing the entire Book of Mormon now. Edited September 25, 2014 by JLHPROF
The Nehor Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 i think destroying angel best fits my skill set. Stick to what you are good at. 4

(Not that callings in "real life" are any easier to figure out: 2-2 1/2 months ago, I was called as Sunday School Secretary in my ward; before that, I was Executive Secretary. When I was released from the latter, the counselor in the Stake Presidency who extended me my release said (in effect) that they'd look forward to having me serve in some capacity, probably on the Ward level. Last Thursday, a High Councilor, who used to be my Bishop, called and asked to meet with me ... and extended me another Stake calling. (Playing it close to the vest because I haven't been sustained or set apart yet.) I was just getting used to the idea of having this calling! Life is interesting in the Kingdom sometimes!) Kenngo1969 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I got Apostle as well, for heaven's sake!Welcome to the Quorum! 1
Darren10 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) Bishop. I don't know scriptures by heart so maybe that's why. Edited September 25, 2014 by Darren10
VideoGameJunkie Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) I got Nursery leader. Probably because I clicked that Homer Simpson inspired me most. I did it again with same answers except Jeffrey Holland this time instead of Homer Simpson and got Apostle. Edited September 25, 2014 by VideoGameJunkie

VideoGameJunkie Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I love me some Metallica! Their concert was the best I've ever been to.

I will stop there, before I spit flames. 1
Buckeye Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I love me some Metallica! Their concert was the best I've ever been to. My primary-age daughters will often ask for Enter Sandman for their bedtime song.
VideoGameJunkie Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Haha Enter Sandman is a great song to fall asleep to. I started listening to them in middle school and own every CD.

Maybe in 20 years Gladys Knight performances will seem normal in LDS congregations and we will be ready for special visits by Metallica to open the musical canon more fully.
VideoGameJunkie Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Well Metallica did perform with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra back in 1999 and made an album with them, so the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Metallica album is not far behind. 1
Rain Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I find it funny that I got apostle and I am female.
JLHPROF Posted September 25, 2014 Author Posted September 25, 2014 I find it funny that I got apostle and I am female. We'll just call you Junia (but ssshhh...nobody tell OW).
Mola Ram Suda Ram Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 It put me as an Apostle. There is no way that is accurate. I even put that I hate reading the scriptures.

VideoGameJunkie Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Mola, their worst album is St. Anger, their best album is And Justice for All.
Boanerges Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 I'm a Sunday School teacher, and I do in reality like that calling. I don't know why I'm not an apostle, though.
Mola Ram Suda Ram Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Mola, their worst album is St. Anger, their best album is And Justice for All.Well, you get points for trying you got one right. I would classify you as a true fan (not that it matters really what I think). At least you got their worst album right. What a horrid album. Master of Puppets, man, that is really were it is at. Thought Justice is a great album.
VideoGameJunkie Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Master of Puppets is my 2nd favorite album, followed by Ride The Lightning, then Black album. I love classic Metallica the most.
