Yesterday evening, while conversing with my wife, she started pulling money out of her purse and laid it on the table in fron of Linda. She told Linda to pick one of the five dollar bills and one of the one dollar bills, and one of the quarters, although Linda was only allowed to pick one of each.Jessi then informe Linda that she could have that currency, "just in case I forget about Mother's Day". I guess if Jessi remembers to buy Linda something for Mother's Day, she will have to return the money. (Linda has no intentions of keeping it anyway.) But that story really made me smile.Jessi also picked some flowers this morning to give to her bus driver. Of course, Jessi has become Mrs. Hall's favorite charge.And, on a more serious not, I am having to revise my opinion of our doctor. You see, she actually laughed at one of my jokes, and if you have ever heard one of my jokes .........Well, it was about a poster that was in the waiting room at the clinic where she worked. It advertised "permanent, painless hair loss." I informed Doctor McVeigh that I had been going through that process for years without the help of a doctor. And she laughed!!!Oh well.Glenn 2

But I have a penchant for somehow getting some part of any meal I am eating on the front of my shirt. She will skae her head and say "Sloppy Poppy."How did she learn to rhyme like that?Did the 17 year old go hungry that night, or did you serve up a tasty helping of liver?Glenn

Garden Girl Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 My cat... Bob...Don't get me started on stories of how smart, funny, cute, sweet, loving, beautiful he is... He weighs 20 lbs and is routine oriented, likes things his way...Sometimes when he's snuggling up wanting to be petted, I tell him... How was I ever lucky enough to find you!!... I got Bob from the animal shelter about three years ago. The vet's best guess is that he was approx 2 - 3 years old. He is a wonderful companion to me, and really does give me lots of laughs.So, I'm the proverbial old woman who lives with her cat in a cottage by the sea...GG
