The vast majority of the buildings Americans build any more are similar. We have lost the drive or desire to build the beautiful and inspiring. When we limit the evaluation to what is the most building we can build for the least amount of money, beauty and other similar traits go out the window. 1

KevinG Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I like the expansions, but I'm a fan of big ivy covered traditional castle like University buildings...The museums will be a great addition for the community as well as the students.The housing was sorely needed in the 1990's when I attended, especially for marrieds. Now is a great time to build using cash because contractors need the work and are willing to do it for a good price.

Darth_Bill Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 I'm an engineer and for me, the efficient use of space is a beautiful thing. I worked in the Tanner building and while nice, a complete waste of resources. It annoyed me.
