rodheadlee Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 Okay who's drones do you think these are flying over New Jersey and Pennsylvania? I guess a group of them followed a coast guard vessel too. I think they are either our own military drones or they are Chinese spy drones being flown by private citizens or residents. I'm surprised some redneck hasn't shot one down already.

Can you remember all those balloons that flown over Oregon and ....some other states a few years ago? Those where from China. Edited December 15, 2024 by Dario_M

And they tried to buy property right outside of a US Air Force Base.

First of all because of that corona pandemic that completaly ruint my life (i still have health problems from that pandamic). And now they produce fentanyl pills that they send to the United States. A compleet disaster. My heart cry's out for all the victims. Edited December 17, 2024 by Dario_M
The Nehor Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 I suspect this is just people who don’t look up at the sky very often suddenly looking up and thinking there are too many things up there. A few people do it and it catches on and then more people see it. It is similar to how it used to be when you would go out to a site where a lot of UFO activity was supposed to be happening. Virtually every group that goes to those sites tended to report seeing something. Our skies are busy. I doubt it is a bunch of Chinese agents launching drones. China is “spying” on us. They have launched hundreds of surveillance satellites over the past few years. The Chinese might have launched the balloon last year in retaliation for some of the export control moves the United States made in 2022 with the goal of humiliating the United States for not seeing it (balloons are hard to detect). The US has extensive monitoring set up on China’s east coast including flights from Guam and Japan. China can’t match this. These balloons can be a sort of stop-gap or poor man’s recon. It is likely that one was blown off course. It could have been shot down much sooner but there was a risk of casualties or property damage so they waited until it was over the ocean. Shooting it down over the ocean also has the benefit of making it more likely for the equipment on board to survive to be recovered and studied. It is worth noting that these kinds of incidents are normal background noise. They rarely come to public attention. The Russians still do their flights to “monitor” the United States since the Cold War. There was a near-miss with a US plane a few months ago. The US, NATO, Russia, and the Chinese all play these ongoing games of readiness and showing the flag and being ready for Cold War style conflicts. 1
sunstoned Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 The Drones in question were flying around with their running lights on. To get any kind of extended range with a Drone, you need a big battery or fuel system. This means the drone would have to be large. much larger than the phantom ones that are in the news. 1
marineland Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 Enemy drones would not make themselves visible at night. If they were spy drones, the US military would have shot down at least one of them.
sunstoned Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Having running lights on is a dead giveaway. There are better ways to spy than using commercial drones.
