Total years of ages of First Presidencies

We almost have a 100 year old prophet.    And his counselors are pretty impressive at 92 and 93 years iirc. 
 

That makes for 282-5 total. Anyone track previous First Presidencies to know total ages to pinpoint if we have the oldest First Presidency on record or not?  Have any counselors hit 100 years before? (I am almost positive no prophet has and my guess is they would release from the First Presidency most counselors who were hitting 100.)

Also how many apostles hit 100?

None have hit 100 before President Nelson. Before President Nelson the oldest Apostle ever was Elder Haight who lived to 97.

Elder Eldred G. Smith, former Patriarch to the Church was something like 107

I ran a quick calculation (cuz there's nothing in this world I love more than a spreadsheet) looking at the average age of the First Presidency on its last day.  To make things easier on myself, I did not include any additional counselors (beyond the first and second).  Also, I stopped after the last First Presidency of the McKay administration, cuz I don't think medical technology would have produced older first presidencies than the ones we've seen in the last 50 years.

The Average age of the current first presidency (as of today) is 94.19 years.

The next oldest First Presidency was the Hinckley-Monson-Faust presidency in 2007, with an average age of 88.04 years.

My wife thought I was having a seizure or something!!   I could not stop laughing!!

I know a few of you  are getting older too.... they say it is a good thing...   but I went to facebook after doing some other stuff, and in my account, it said

I was laughing hard at your post too.

Maybe this is what is meant by Ecclesiastes 9:5:  "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten."   (The Jehovah's Witnesses love that verse).

It's clear that people age differently, largely due to genetics and life style.   I've been away from the board for a while due to family in town visiting my aging mother-in-law.  The family members left a couple of days ago and sadly my mother-in-law already can't remember that anyone came to visit her.

Coincidently, I read this article on KSL News last night before I saw this thread, and it a good story:

Orem resident turns 105, has some advice for young people

She's doing extremely well for a 105 year old and she is as old as the city of Orem.   I love this quote from her, "I don't feel 105, but I look it".  I think the fact that she's standing and getting around at 105 makes her look quite young for a 105 year old.

I'm glad that President Nelson also seems to be doing so well at 99.75 years old.

I have an inlaw who is 102 or 3.  Lived on her own though with help until she was 100, iirc.  Definitely close to it.   Used to blow me away with all the help my family’s 90 year olds need.  She is now in a memory assisted unit though.

I’m of the belief that having an extremely aged First President is not in the best interests of church members.  Our current President is 6 generations detached from the youngest Generation Alpha members.
