Perhaps he has in mind a "Limited Use" recommend?

What change your mind on getting ordained? I hope it was a good experience for you and that getting your patriarchal blessing will be as well.

He's probably getting the temporary recommend, it's all you need to go do Temple baptisms on a Temple trip. Fun fun, except the locker rooms, they all smell of bleach and old people. They need more air circulation in there.

I love the smell of bleach. Makes everything smell clean to me. And I’m sure a big part of it is the chlorinated water in the font.

Yes it whas a nice experience. My president of the quorum is really nice. He had his hands on my head with a few other guys. So... i didn't mind it at all. And he whas saying some things.

I'm happy that i have done it. I whas ready for it. After i have waited for a while. This whas a good time to do it.

Yes offcourse. That's always with the Aaronic Priesterhood. It's fine with me.

I must say though....i'm so curious about my patraichal blessing. I'm curious what will be in that note. And what kind of direction my church expects me to go.

Yeah is it so much fun?

The clossest temple for me is in Lisbon. I have never been there so i have no idea how it would be to inter that temple.

Congratulations!

Thank you so much dear Hamilton. You are always so nice. 💙 I'm happy with it.

Now i can also baptize other people and give them the holly ghost (if i'm not mistaken at least). That's also cool i find.

Oh really? But uhm.. what does that mean actually?? 🤔 That i can use my temple reccoment just one time??

It means you can do baptism's for the dead only. And when my kids got theirs I believe it needs to be renewed every 1 to 2 years, but I'm not sure. So it's not for the endowment/sealings/washing and anointing sessions.

I just have to say, I laugh at your usage Priesterhood, not laughing at you, but it just makes me giggle. Congrats on being ordained, and your upcoming Patriarchal Blessing. I always loved getting any kind of blessing. Very comforting. But I don't know that I would trust every word in the Patriarchal Blessing, it's human fed, but they are usually very nice unless they lead you down a path that isn't right for you. That's just me being critical because of some people's experiences. Mine was gotten when I was in my thirties, not the typical teen age. And it didn't tell me what to do in my life really, just said some nice things.

Yes, I get all my information about church policy from LDSliving, which is my go to source :)

It was announced in the Liahona but that's not what came up first in my search and I was too lazy to track down the official source. But, it was linked first thing in the LDSliving article if I or you had bothered to look.

Yes.  Even children do baptisms for the dead now in the temple-  not the endowment of course.

No, it just means that you cannot do the endowment and some other ordinances yet- you need the Melchizedek Priesthood for that.  But that will come- it's up to the Bishop to decide- it usually takes a year or so after your baptism, and a worthiness interview.

The interview questions for the endowment are here:

Do you have faith in and a testimony of God, the Eternal Father; His Son, Jesus Christ; and the Holy Ghost?

Do you have a testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and of His role as your Savior and Redeemer?

Do you have a testimony of the Restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ?

Do you sustain the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as the prophet, seer, and revelator and as the only person on the earth authorized to exercise all priesthood keys?

Do you sustain the members of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles as prophets, seers, and revelators?

Do you sustain the other General Authorities and local leaders of the Church?

The Lord has said that all things are to be “done in cleanliness” before Him (Doctrine and Covenants 42:41).

Do you strive for moral cleanliness in your thoughts and behavior?

Do you obey the law of chastity?

Do you follow the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ in your private and public behavior with members of your family and others?

Do you support or promote any teachings, practices, or doctrine contrary to those of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Do you strive to keep the Sabbath day holy, both at home and at church; attend your meetings; prepare for and worthily partake of the sacrament; and live your life in harmony with the laws and commandments of the gospel?

Do you strive to be honest in all that you do?

Are you a full-tithe payer?

For new members seeking a limited-use recommend: Are you willing to obey the commandment to pay tithing?

Do you understand and obey the Word of Wisdom?

Do you have any financial or other obligations to a former spouse or to children?

If yes, are you current in meeting those obligations?

Do you keep the covenants that you made in the temple, including wearing the temple garment as instructed in the endowment?

Are there serious sins in your life that need to be resolved with priesthood authorities as part of your repentance?

Do you consider yourself worthy to enter the Lord’s house and participate in temple ordinances?

I wish I knew the array of languages he has at his command- and learning to spell English is something I still have trouble with!  :)

The quotes, I suspect, mean you know that the term "Limited Use" recommend is no longer used.

Yes, the new recommends don't even look like that now! they are digital and scanned.

Now baptism but you need the Melchizedek for confirming and bestowing the Gift of the Holy Ghost. But you will get there soon!
