Yes i went too church dear Tacenda. And it whas amazing. I have talked with some nice people and shaked hands. 

Too bad that some people waited me up by the door after the church service whas over to ask me why i wanted to leave so early.🎭 after one whole hour!! That's quite long allready i find.

Heading to church myself.  I went to a social for the first time in a decade because we are new and we participated in an auction for the youth.  We met some great people and I’m excited to go worship the savior and study the NT.  After, family dinner with my kids and granddaughter.  Happy Sunday all.

My 18 year old gave a talk today in sacrament meeting and I’m just so proud of him because he has a lot of anxiety in general around being in front of people, and he also struggles to read out loud (probably some dyslexia in there).

He wrote it himself and I know he was speaking from the heart. That’s what matters the most to me.

Hey dear people. 

I'm in church right now. But what a mess have they have made it these sunday. There isn't hardly anyone in the church. Because all the other member are on the English section in a differend part of the church. And here it if for people who are able the speak the Portugues language. Without any cumunication what's soever. 

There is hardly anyone here on church right now. Portugal make always such a mess about this kind of things. And please don't correct me on what i said. I live here. You guys don't live here. I'm not happy. I hope i still will receive my sacrament today.

No comunication at all. What a mess in this ward. 

I  hope your church service today will get a lot better there in the far Utah people. Pray for that. ✝️

I have spend so much time to get myself into the right type of close. It Has taken me a long time. 

How will i get closer to God with all those mess and confussion that is going on right now??. I get distracted a lot with this. It brings me further away from Jesus. And when the heaven do i get my Sacrament!! 

Well...i just asked a missionarie ...he just told me that we don't even get our sacrament today. without any reason why. 

What a mess. What a mess here in Portugal. It's sunday today isn't it??? So what is going on??🎭

God bless everyone and i hope your church service well go a lot more well insted of mine. There in US/Utah. 💜✝️🙏

We are only wacting some stuff on a screen the whole hour. With everyhing in Portugues. 

Everone is bored i see. Even the missionaries

And what really bothers me is that we don't even get an sacrament today. 😞 I really needed a sacrament this week. 

I allready heard a missionaris next to me saying the word "Boring!" And i can't blame him for that. This is super boring never experienced something like this bevore This whas a really bad idea for the church to do this service this way.

Btw i have just talked to my Bishop (in plane English for him special) And i have also spoken to my missionaris from Hawaii. The told me that we where watching a persconference the whole church hour. Without having the injoyment of the Sacrament. 

The only thing i don't understand is why did we not do the persconference fully in English with all the church members togheter. That would make more sense. And the ones who doesn't understand English need to improve their English then in my opinion. This is an English based church.

The reason why is that it is General Conference weekend where you hear from the prophet, apostles and other leaders of the church. There are 2, usually 3 sessions on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. 

Unfortunately, because it happens live in Utah and Portugal is 8 hours ahead of Utah (and all the different times around the world) then it makes it hard for timing.  This usually means that it is often a recorded version that is played for others during church time.  The reason why there are not many people there is most will watch at home from the church website or the church's youtube station. The cool thing is that you can watch it on the church's website in your own language.

It is in English for everyone, but since you are in Portugal then they are more likely to play it translated into Portugese.

But i find that the sunday is the day to go to church. I don't wanna stay at home on sunday.

The options are stay at home and watch it or go to church and watch whatever language they are playing.  This happens twice a year so you will need to figure put what works best for you, because this has been happening for years.

Wow they sure should have! In all my years in the church we looked forward to conference. And then when I had kids we would usually try and make it fun and sit and watch with goodies and pillows and blankets. I hope you have a better experience next time in the fall, I wish someone would have invited you to their home to watch it.

You are right!  This should have been communicated.  I suspect language differences played a role in the failure.

If you have a chance, you might enjoy watching the sessions in Dutch or English from home.  General Conference happens again early in October, so you can count on that.  🤓

I’m sorry for the disappointment you felt today.  Like you, I draw strength and spiritual power from being with other Saints.  General Conference provides that kind of strength in a similar (yet different) way.  God bless you for your desire to be with the Saints.  You are known and loved brother Dario.

Nobody's is gonna invite me enewhere. But i have text my bishop. With the question what this whas all about,?

Why is Portugal such a mess?? Why does nobody communicate. The only one's that comunicate are the ones that are doing the hardes work...The Missionaries. #ThoseSavages

But the missionaries are tired. I could hear that today on the moment when that young man from Hawai massages me a voicemail through the whatsapp. I could hear that he whas tired. Poor guy. 😞

One place of the church whas for Portugues speakers. The other place (i have no clue where) whas for English speakers. 

I had taken a sit on the wrong place (Portugues). But didn't wanna move again anymore you know. I'm also just sick you know. I don't have the energie to source the whole building to find the English section. 

But there whas no comunication at all. No sacrament. Nothing. And that's something that happends a lot here in Portugal, that their is absolutely no cummunication at all.

It sounds so annoying if you hear 2 voices speak between echt other don't you find??
