Duncan Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Do you absolutely have to wear a white tie in the temple?

strappinglad Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Personally, I should be wearing a light gray one to better reflect my spiritual status. 😉 2
rpn Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 In some temples you might get away with a white bolo tie. But yes, presenting yourself in your dress up clothes is part of reverencing what happens in it and its stature as the house of the Lord. PS And your struggle is one of the limited opportunities for women to feel truly blessed that they aren't men.:) 2
JAHS Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 I know they have the white jumpsuits with no ties for baptisms. Can those also be worn while doing endowment sessions? 1
Derl Sanderson Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 (edited) Find some really old guy to bequeath you his hideous Elvis-in-Vegas white jumpsuit. They don't have a tie. Thankfully, I don't see many of those any more, and the ones I do are tending to be a little on the yellow side. Edited January 10, 2022 by Derl Sanderson clarity
Rain Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 I used to see a lot of the jumpsuits. Haven't noticed any in a long time now.
sunstoned Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 Jumpsuits use to be real popular. My dad wore one. I used the white knit ties with the square end that they would rent to you. 1
