I've dropped all my energy in needing the nativity scene to look like any particular thing, but it makes sense that Joseph and Mary would have traveled to stay in his family's home, and they tell me this is what family homes looked like at the time:

Is it the John Taylor and Willard Richards killed Joseph and Hyrum on behalf of Brigham one?
That's been making the rounds lately.  Not worth the time to watch.

Not a thorough review of the movie, but focuses on one issue of the claims.

Those with historical knowledge find such a scenario not only implausible but, quite frankly, ridiculous. What weapon was Joseph Smith using to shoot John Taylor?

Pure pure fantasy.  Those people were his friend.  If you wanted to murder someone, you do it in a dark alley or on a lonely road.  Not in a crowed room with an armed mob on the other side of the door.

The average height of a horse is about 60 inches at the withers.  The tallest horse on record was 82.75 inches at the withers, and if that tall guy next to Moroni is six feet, then Moroni's horse would have been right up there with the tallest.

When he was on his mission my brother used to draw cartoons of Book of Mormon characters with the traditional muscles of magnitude, straining while carrying around their scriptures - metal books like the images of the Golden Plates.  The way Alma figured out his son Alma the Younger hadn't been studying his scriptures was that he still had skinny noodle arms. 

Okay, the cartoons were funnier that my description.

The average height for Mayans is around 5’.
