There are quite a few people that are posting links to articles or studies with a few sentences explaining how this blows up the whole public health narrative. Some are just dumb and don’t understand what they read and pull out a phrase or sentence out of context and yell that this proves they were lying. Others may or may not know what they are reading but they just outright lie about the content. Followers of this tripe are some of the most credulous people to ever live. If I were a scam artist I would love to have access to a database of their followers. Not hard to get that list either since their platforms are so badly coded that hacking them is hilariously easy. If you think I am being harsh look at the people who come here repeating the misinformation. Even when shown that whoever gave them the information was either wrong or lying they run back to similar sources to get more and come back sharing more. There is a reason they are calling it a cult. 3
bsjkki Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 https://www.nature.com/articles/s41421-021-00329-3 Large-scale COVID-19 vaccinations are currently underway in many countries in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Here, we report, besides generation of neutralizing antibodies, consistent alterations in hemoglobin A1c, serum sodium and potassium levels, coagulation profiles, and renal functions in healthy volunteers after vaccination with an inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine. Similar changes had also been reported in COVID-19 patients, suggesting that vaccination mimicked an infection. Single-cell mRNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) before and 28 days after the first inoculation also revealed consistent alterations in gene expression of many different immune cell types. Reduction of CD8+ T cells and increase in classic monocyte contents were exemplary. Moreover, scRNA-seq revealed increased NF-κB signaling and reduced type I interferon responses, which were confirmed by biological assays and also had been reported to occur after SARS-CoV-2 infection with aggravating symptoms. Altogether, our study recommends additional caution when vaccinating people with pre-existing clinical conditions, including diabetes, electrolyte imbalances, renal dysfunction, and coagulation disorders. 1

This is a study of all of 11 people using a vaccine developed in China and the vaccine is an old-school inactivated virus vaccine. In other words it is a conventional vaccine and not an mRNA vaccine which is what most of the people in North America and Europe got. This should worry no one who did not get this particular vaccine and it probably shouldn’t even worry them considering the size of the study. 3
pogi Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 Quote The research team found that unvaccinated people with a prior infection within 3 to 6 months were about 5-1/2 times more likely to have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 than those who were fully vaccinated within 3 to 6 months with the Pfizer or Moderna shots. They found similar results when looking at the months that the Delta variant was the dominant strain of the coronavirus. Protection from the Moderna vaccine "appeared to be higher" than for the Pfizer vaccine, the study authors wrote. The boost in protection also "trended higher" among older adults, as compared to those under age 65. https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/961975?uac=224337CJ&faf=1&sso=true&impID=3761181&src=mkm_covid_update_211101_MSCPEDIT
Calm Posted November 2, 2021 Author Posted November 2, 2021 So vaccinations are in general over 5 times more protective than immunity through natural infection? Did I read that correctly?

Did I read that correctly? Yes, you read that correctly. Pretty large and solid study by the CDC and published in MMWR confirming that vaccination is more effective against reinfection than natural immunity - for up to 6 months. My guess is that natural infection will outperform vaccines beyond the 6 month mark as immunity from the vaccine wanes, but that is yet to be seen. 2

pogi Posted November 5, 2021 Posted November 5, 2021 It looks like Pfizer also has a very effective (90%) drug for early treatment of Covid in the works. That means both Merck and Pfizer (both have Covid Vaccines) have created drugs to treat Covid. So much for the conspiracy theory that has been floating around these parts which suggests that these companies and the government have been suppressing the development and use of early treatment drugs because they are competition to the vaccines. https://www.ksl.com/article/50277135/second-pill-to-treat-covid-19-announced-heres-what-you-need-to-know No, Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine were not effective medicines which were suppressed because they competed with the vaccine narrative and bottom line. 2

Calm Posted November 7, 2021 Author Posted November 7, 2021 But only a limited end unless it ends up being cheap to produce is my guess. Quote I think the bottom line is the end of the end of the pandemic‚ as least as it relates to the United States, is in sight right now

Suggesting that in a few months it will be deployed at a large enough scale to end the pandemic. Unless they mean just in the US. That is a maybe.

The website has outright lied before, reporting the Pope was arrested. You got it! One person (in his peer group) commented on it and said, "How did you fall for this lol". But it didn't phase my son. Last night I spoke with him a little bit, and mentioned the QAnon folk that showed up in Texas awaiting the arrival of JFK, Jr. because he is supposed to come back to life, or maybe they think he has been in hiding, and then run with Trump as his vice president. And my son didn't say he believed in QAnon, but brought up something about the Kennedy's or something that made no sense. What to do, what to do. He's a really smart young man, but sadly his brain has gone south for a bit. ETA: I just privately shared the snopes about it being false. I hope my son won't disown me. Strange world we live in. Calm Posted November 9, 2021 Author Posted November 9, 2021 Hopefully they will figure out soon what the issue is. As long as they have enough of the other vaccines, this is not an issue I am guessing (France does at least). Quote It wrote that the vaccine could lead to a possible risk of inflammation of the myocardium, the heart muscle, and the pericardium, the membrane covering the heart. It added that most of these inflammations are benign and pass on their own, but medical advice is recommended if symptoms occur https://www.connexionfrance.com/French-news/Why-France-is-no-longer-using-Moderna-for-Covid-booster-jabs 1
