I was just shown this very interesting video.

Seems pertinent to our day. I would say Neil Maxwell was a prophet.

Its a call not to be discouraged as we lose some battles.

Edit: This appears to be the full text of the speech.

Absolutely splendid and sublime! A modern Isaiah at his best! A call for the Latter-day Saints, and all people of faith and traditional values, to not be ashamed or inimidated into keeping silent about the revealed will of the living God, as they encounter and debate the secular humanists in the market place of ideas.

Perhaps one of the greatest of this dispensation! Thanks!

I wish he were still alive. We could still use a great intellectual like him.

It would be interesting to find out what he thinks of his "Institute" now.

And here we are, right where he said we would be.

But make no mistake about it, brothers and sisters; in the months and years ahead, events will require of each member that he or she decide whether or not he or she will follow the First Presidency. Members will find it more difficult to halt longer between two opinions (see 1 Kings 18:21).

President Marion G. Romney said, many years ago, that he had "never hesitated to follow the counsel of the Authorities of the Church even though it crossed my social, professional, or political life" (CR, April 1941, p. 123). This is a hard doctrine, but it is a particularly vital doctrine in a society which is becoming more wicked. In short, brothers and sisters, not being ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ includes not being ashamed of the prophets of Jesus Christ.
