HairBear
After a long wait, frought with difficulties, finally, my fiancee and I are getting married tomorrow (Sat 10th). As neither of us are in a position to go to the Temple on the same day (I live in the UK), we will have to wait a year before we can be sealed, but it just means we have another thing to look forward to after tomorrow. We've both been married before, though never sealed, (it was at a time that I was inactive from the Church, and my new wife-to-be wasn't a member at the time she was married), but this time it feels different, I think because we have the goal of going to the Temple this time.Tomorrow will the the first day of the rest of our lives together, and we both can't wait. 1 Link to comment

Ticketyboo
Hi Hairbear, congratulations for tomorrow. I'm in the UK too & I believe that there is no longer a 12 month wait if you can't get to the Temple on or near your wedding day, unless of course your soon to be wife is a brand new member. Please counsel with your PH leaders, why wait any longer than you have to. Link to comment
