My daughter asked just this week how others could celebrate Christmas when it is the summer where they live! Have an Aussie Christmas! : )

What is Christmas? The only holiday I know of this time of year is Smithmas and that was yesterday.

Only you could get away with that, lol!

Merry Christmas to some very patient people on this board, I hope this finds you full of peace, love and comfortable surroundings with a belly full of food and laughter! Been listening to an audible called, "First They Killed My Father". And it's made me feel grateful for what I have, and loved ones that I easily get into slumps, and it's really so ungrateful of me.

Although I don't know any of you personally, I love you guys! Thanks for the post By Vanguard, I know the feeling of having one child left at home during the holidays that is older, haha! 🌲

Merry Christmas! This is my wife and my first year without 2 of the 3 children present tonight and tomorrow morning. My eldest got married in February and is now juggling between in-laws who live close by each other and my 2nd is now in Argentina serving her mission. My poor caboose (15 going on 20!) has got to figure out how to enjoy the occasion with her two stuffy parents. She is having a devil of a time figuring it out! I'm actually not stuffy though her narratve seems to carry the day... ; (

Have a good one and blessings to all. : )

I have 2 married.  The youngest went on his mission and is home while going to school.  While he was on his mission his sister was very lonely without him (she got married just after he got home).  We hardly see my youngest.,  He is a big time extrovert and very active so he is always gone playing basketball, pickleball, running etc.

It is and will be interesting to see each of my three 'coming into their own' as adults. They each have so many similarities but yet are carving a path quite different from each other. As long as they know their roads can all lead back home should the need ever arise. : )

Merry Christmas! Ours didn't turn out as expected. Our son was deployed last year and he was supposed to fly in on Friday, but the ice storm got his flight canceled. First Christmas without my mom and what would've been our last Christmas together with the whole family before another son goes on his mission. Son is flying in on Tuesday now. I'll be happy to see him, but it's not the same. I so wanted all of my kids sleeping here on Christmas Eve.

Darn, this has been a rough year for travel.
