When did God ever send a person out into the wilderness solely on their own to go to a better life?

In families and community groups, sure.  I think God would be quite unhappy by your suggestion his children should just wander off with only the clothes they can carry.  He doesn’t seem to expect pointless, unnecessary death marches last I checked the scriptures.

There is no need for anyone to go alone.  They can go with as many who will go with them.  There seems to be a lot who want to leave now, and are making the effort to leave.,  Good for them.  If they don't like those rulers they can find other rulers, or rule their own lives themselves with God as their ultimate ruler.  And there is no guarantee they will die on their journeys when they leave.  But if they die, and they are all trying to do the right thing for them, then good for them, happy day, all is well.

Just shut up.

You artificially avoid it by creating new personas.  Why not accept the consequences of your choices?

I always do, and continue to make my own choices.

Wait...is this ANOTHER Ahab identity?  Good grief.

When all else fails, be rude?  Is that really the example you want to set for me?

That's the response you get when you repeatedly say things so offensive, so inflammatory, and so terribly uninformed that it's clear there is no reasoning with you.

He's got to be a troll.  There is no other explanation for someone being that socially inept.

no body believes this… but somehow it still corrupts every conversation about modesty

How do you know this?  I have heard it and still hear it…it was just a few years ago a woman posted on FB about her teenage boys shouldn’t have to deal with immodest girls exposing their stomachs and such while she was posting pictures of her boys running around in swimsuits.

https://youtu.be/n2S888TocQ0

One of the young men says “why would you date a girl that would show it to everyone?”

Why would “showing it” be a problem in your view?

Another says “when I see a girl who dresses immodestly, it doesn’t create good thoughts in my mind”.

It is old, but not taken down.

That girls should dress to help the ym have clean thoughts was still being taught in my stake in Montana five years ago, where the policy was to send YW home if they came to activities with shorts that didn't go to the knee.

Three years ago at a stake zone conference in Utah, the girls were told they were not allowed to wear swimsuits to tube in the creek, only shorts and t-shirts, but the boys were allowed to wear swim trunks without t-shirts to all water activities. They even played volleyball after the water activities were over just in their swim trunks and it was fine with stake leadership.

Two years ago I had a senior missionary sister at a church owned camp go off on one of my young women because she was wearing a swimsuit with shorts, for being immodest.  It resulted in this girl getting lectured in front of the entire group.  She was dressed as she was because we had just come from kayaking in a nearby lake, and the sister missionary knew that.

I'm not sure where you are getting the ideas bolded above.

Yup...there's a reason the exmo community has a plethora of jokes about 'porn-shoulders.'

You specifically urged me not to point out that you are a banned poster that keeps coming back multiple times. That is a fear response Ahab.

I will go back to reporting Ahab as soon as I recognize his latest incarnation then.  The above was why I had stopped.  Now I know he is actually good with being banned, I will be sure and let him get more of the experience so he can be happy in his “all is well” state.

I stand correct, I guess there are people who still think this way. I have personally never heard this sentiment in my entire life. That being said. It’s wrong

No that was the response I got from saying people should choose new rulers or leave when they don't like their rulers or the rules of their rulers.  And you're saying you think the idea of choosing new leaders or  leaving was offensive, inflammatory and uninformed.  Sure there will be opposition from people who don't want them to leave, or who don't want them to choose new rulers, but in this case I think it would be in their best interests to choose one of those options.

Accept those rulers as their rulers or choose new rulers, whether there or in some other country or kingdom.

You do not accept either Nemesis as ruler of this kingdom nor are you heading for the border singing “all is well”.  Double standard much?  Especially when not posting here would not actually end up with you face down in the dirt dying of starvation or worse.

No I did not urge you not to point me out.  I told you that pointing me out was helping others here who for some reason want me to be banned. Just so you realize you are helping them by pointing me out.

I am not Ahab.  I am not bOObOO.  I am not any of the names I have posted under.  The reason I don't post under my real name is to give you all some plausible deniability if you were to be told who you are banning. And my words matter more than my name.

Indeed.  I stand corrected.

Surely you have proven what you think is obtuse and what isn't, all from your own perspective.

Yep.

Please explain why you are not headed for the border of the kingdom of Mormon Dialogue singing “all is well” given your refusal to accept its ruler.

As agents we represent either God or Satan, good vs evil, whenever we say anything.  So consider each person who says something as an agent of either God or Satan and that by banning me you ban who I represent as an agent.

Naturally to ban me or to support banning me you would rather think of me as one of the bad guys, an agent of Satan, but consider for a moment that you could be wrong and might be banning a good guy, an agent of God. Think about it.
